It was clean and had a nice bathroom. Rooms were spacious.
Staff did not book us in so we stayed at a different hotel arranged by staff. We were in one room the first night then asked to move for the second which was inconvenient.

More quiet street right next to the center. Everything was clean enough and worked on a reasonable level.
Some small annoyances, the shower holder was broken and some of the lights in the room. Sure to be easily repaired.
The bus to Ha Long bay I booked from the hotel was a bit less fancy than what you can find yourself. Narrow but comfortable sleeping pods and no toilet(!). It also dropped me off to this highway far from town at 3am convinced that that is the Ha Long bay stop.

We were switched to a nearby hotel by the host due to overbooking but it was communicated in advance so it was not an inconvenience. The alternate facility was pleasant and although not roomy for the three of us (we only had three carry-on luggage yet found it challenging to move things around) it served us well. Communication was at adequate - we did not need assistance and we spoke the local language so I can't comment on this area. Location was ideal and allowed us to walk everywhere.
The only issue for us, and it was significant, was that our room was on the 5th floor with no elevator. We were hiking and climbing all day during our stay so by the end of each day did not appreciate to climb 4 flights of stairs to get to our room.

Zaazaa and her family were so welcoming, I felt like I was staying with family. I asked to help cook dinner and basically got a Vietnamese cooking class which was super fun! The trekking was great and adaptable to people's abilities and needs.
It was cold when I was there and Zaazaa put an extra duvet on my bed which was so sweet. I slept so well! The food was incredible and plentiful and the homemade happy water was great.
That I had to leave!!

The beds are extremely hard. Probably the worst I have experienced so far.

Our family stayed at Sapa Alley Homestay for four days, and we had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was delicious. The receptionist, Ms. Julianna, was very accommodating. Communication was easy since she speaks and understands English well.
The location is also a big plus, as it’s close to everything—shopping areas, Sun World, the church, and more. Right next to the hotel is Big Tree Restaurant. If you're looking for delicious food, generous portions, and a taste of Filipino cuisine, this place is definitely worth visiting. The food there is absolutely amazing.
The door is difficult to open and makes a lot of noise when opening and locking.
It is in a great location. This was my second time staying here and it has been a pleasure every time.

Nous a organisé un trek d'une journée au dernier moment, le matin quand on est arrivé. Mais nous avons dû donner un supplément , en + du prix initial une fois la guide arrivée. Pas compris...
Chambre petite sans fenêtre au 4e étage. Et matelas très mince sur une planche.
petit déjeuner : on doit choisir un seul plat + boisson chaude. Pas de fruit , pas de jus de fruits.

Le seul point positif de cet établissement, c’est la localisation.
Établissement sale qui sent fortement la moisissure et malheureusement nous étions au premier étage et juste en dessous. Le personnel vivait là. À fuir.
