Hi, I hope you are doing well.
I would like to discuss our stay because we are not satisfied with the service we received.
We arrived at the hotel at around 6:00 pm and found that another car was parked in our allocated parking space. We called the hotel manager three times. He asked us to use another parking spot, but when we checked, that parking area was locked with a chain. We called again and requested that it be opened, but our concern was ignored.
As a result, we had to park our car about 25 minutes away from the hotel and spent nearly two hours trying to find parking. We had paid for a parking space and expected assistance from the hotel staff, especially since the issue was caused by a mistake on the hotel’s side.
We are very disappointed with this experience and would appreciate an explanation and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused.
We had a wonderful stay! Juniper the manager was very helpful. The room was spotless, warm, and equipped with everything we needed. The hospitality was exceptional, and the food was absolutely amazing. You truly get great value for what you pay. The location is also very convenient, with a bus stop just a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Everything was top notch. Host was soo kind.
Eveything was good.
The bed was very comfortable.
Great bathroom.
Great host.
View was great as was breakfast. Staff veey nice and helpful
It was not clean and facilities rundown. No access to clean water in kitchenette and water from other taps was green.
Comfy room, the lounge and balcony are great , can be used any time you want with good views of the mountain. Full view of the fireworks on Saturday nights. Good selection of breakfast options available, the Becky wrap is a good filler for the day.
There are a few stairs to get down to the village.
Have stayed here before. Its a great place to stay - clean room, spacious, nice shared facilities, easy to access and park in as it is right on Alpine Way. Great views of the village and mountain.
I was a bit disappointed that i was refused breakfast service as I was apparently 5 minutes late. Given its such a small chalet that does really otherwise offer a personal service, I would have thought an exception could have been made. Otherwise it was once again a very pleasant stay.
Best thing about the property was the host, Juniper, who made us a very loving breakfast in the morning. Also loved the shared dining room with views, board games, and complimentary port
The host’s private kitchen was directly above our room and when they were cooking their dinner we could hear every footstep. At least this was only a problem around 6pm and not 6am when we were trying to sleep
Nice and clean and great hospitality.
Comfortable beds, quality towels and linen. Very good cooked to order breakfast.
Great view from dining room window.
Stairs! 50+ down from carpark. Exactly 100 stairs up from lane below. Further down hill walk to the village.
Very tight car space requires 2 people to guide full sized vehicle into space. Our car had about 200mm clearance each side.
Room was very cold on arrival. Heater warmed it up ok. Bathroom was ok once the towel warmer and heated floor were turned on.
Inside chalet was very clean. Outside, not so much. Spider webs at the main door and ash trays filled with cigarette butts at both doors. Cigarette butts littered the area around the main door.
Property is advertised as 4 1/2 star luxury. A more realistic assessment would be 3 1/2 star. Slightly above average inside, more quite comfortable than luxury.
Juniper was lovely and made us feel welcome, the view is amazing
