Pros:

The location, the breakfast and the staff was amazing.

Cons:

Overall it was good. The room was small and the bathroom is really small. But it does the job.

Estava tudo MARAVILHOSO. Nos sentimos em casa, o quarto era muito bom, dormimos como anjos, o que dizer do café da manhã e da simpatia e carinho das meninas???

Pros:

The location was excellent. The hotel arranged us a transfer from the airport late at night, which was very reliable. There was free water and candies!

Cons:

The room smelled like a urinal. I think it's because of the cleaning material staff used in the shower drain, but it gave the room a horrible smell. We had to open the windows and door to create a bit of a draft before we could sleep. Also, we stayed for 3 nights but our room wasn't cleaned at all. Not even the toilet paper basket in the bathroom was emptied.

Excelente! Café da manha excepcional!
Pros:

A Pousada é uma delciai, tem um clima de casa o que nos deixa bem à vontade e muito bem recebida. A única observação que faria é sobre o quarto. Achei bem pequeno, um pouco apertado para malas e afins. Mas a cama é super confortável e tudo limpo. De toda forma, eu recomendo e voltaria.

A lovely stay at a beautiful inn with amazing staff
Pros:

Everything about my stay was perfect. The room was beautiful and looked just like the pictures. I loved the variety at breakfast and the house itself had lots of lovely communal spaces. The best part of my stay was how helpful the staff was. I arrived very late at night and they helped me set up an airport transfer. They helped me set up a local tour. I forgot my outlet adapter and they lent me a spare one. The cleaning staff even noticed that I had tried to cover up a red light from an electronic box and they covered it with tape so it wouldn’t bother me when I slept. The team also sent a long and helpful guide with tips and suggestions for the area. I can’t say enough good things about Pousada Maria Maria and everyone who works there. Highly highly recommend!

Pros:

O café da manhã era simplesmente incrível. O jeito aconchegante da pousada, o cheiro de alfazema e limpeza impecável, a educação dos funcionários, a cama aconchegante e a Localização estratégica foram incríveis. A educação de todos que trabalham ali foi algo que me inspirou. Sempre dispostos a ajudar, com carinho e dedicação, seja preparando o café (que é um diferencial maravilhoso), seja auxiliando para arrumar passeios, opcoes de comida, lugares para ir, tudo. Eu com certeza voltarei a Salvador, e ficarei novamente no Maria Maria. E todos que me perguntarem, indicarei como a melhor opção.

Café da manhã excelente com muitas variações e comidas típicas da Bahia, recepção do Murilo foi incrível (nos trouxe varias dicas e tudo que pedimos ele conseguiu nos ajudar)

A Pousada Maria Maria foi um verdadeiro achado na Barra. Os anfitriões muito hospitaleiros, café da manhã gostoso com opção de tapioca feita na hora. Limpeza impecável e acomodações modestas, mas muito confortáveis. Chico e Caetano (labradores que ficam na pousada) foram uma alegria à parte. Voltaremos, com certeza.
