food and staff are great. really welcoming and family style.
facilities are quite basic than below basic. the whole camp has seen better times before and has actually a very good basis. runs partly solar powered but mainly annoying deal genset with no power in the night anymore. why not using battery storage. easy!
the bar was completely under equipped and has nothing to offer. the few coke and whiskey sold was completely overprided for service & quality. the stuff seems not to have the possibility to buy and change some to make it better. but rather plays loud music all night long with little chance to relax and chill.
no chill-out area with hamoks or similar, which however would be super easy to make.
Magnífico el trato del personal, especialmente Osama. Nos ayudaron mucho durante nuestra estancia. La comida es excepcional y muy abundante. Ideal para los amantes de Kitesurf. Nos llevaron a la duna blanca y fue todo inolvidable.
Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt zu zweit in einem Bungalow! Das Hotel befindet sich direkt an der Lagune, sodass wir in 1min zum kiten in der Lagune waren.
Das Essen ist super, die Essenszeiten waren flexibel.
Das Personal war einfach fantastisch, Ousamma und all die anderen (Tarik, Mohammed, Abdul, Josep etc.)behandelten uns, als wären wir Teil der North Lagoon Familie, so herzlich, immer zuvorkommend und ein "Nein" gibt es praktisch nicht.
Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!!!

Good place to stop if you don’t want to go right into Dakhla.

Meals are served ridiculously late, dinner not finished by 11pm, breakfast just getting started at 10am.
No power throughout the night, and no warning that you’d wake up and not be able to see. This happens every night so clients should be warned to keep a torch with them.
No water throughout the night, cold water in the day.
Loud generator behind room until 1am.
Beer €6, water €2. Absolutely nowhere to buy any supplies. Food served as they like it, if you don’t like fish you’re in trouble because it’s every course.
Room door banging in the wind all night, was told to stuff it with toilet paper. This became very annoying after two days.
Worst place I’ve stayed for the money in 3 months of over landing. It looks great, but it’s empty of what is needed for a comfortable stay. I left without being washed and feeling completely drained. I couldn’t even leave at 6am as intended because I couldn’t see to pack my belongings.
No internet apart from in the bar, I’ve spent €10 on an eSIM during my stay.
UN VRAI SANS FAUTE !! Du début à la fin tout a été absolument parfait ! Le personnel de l’hôtel est adorable, aux petits soins, ils ont rendus notre séjour encore mieux. La nourriture est juste WAHOU ! L’emplacement est parfait aussi ! Les chambres ont une super vue sur la lagune ! On a déjà hâte d’y retourner !

Maravillosa la experiencia en North Lagoon Dakhla. El hotel está muy bien ubicado, concretamente enfrente de la laguna, solamente hay que cruzar una carretera con poco tráfico y en 3 minutos andando estás en el agua. Las instalaciones están muy bien cuidadas, decoradas y la atención al cliente por parte del equipo que trabaja es de diez. Especialmente Oussama, un chico muy amable y atento en todo momento, él te hace sentir como en casa. También Youssef, siempre con una sonrisa. Había leído otras reseñas en las cuales se decia que la comida era muy buena, después de haberla probado, confirmo que está riquísima, variedad y productos locales. Gracias a todo el equipo de North Lagoon y también a su dueño Adam, un hombre muy simpático que se preocupa por los clientes.
La ubicación es fantástica, el trato increíble y la comida cada dia variada y muy buena, además de mucha cantidad y nunca te quedas con hambre.
Falla de vez en cuando la luz y el agua pero es normal porque estamos en el desierto.
Oussama au restaurant et Ayman au Kite ont été vraiment adorables
Gène occasionnée par le bruit de la route qui passe devant l'hôtel et surtour le générateur électrique qui tourne jusqu'à 23h30.
El personal fenomenal, es como alojarte con una familia. Son todos un encanto. Cualquier problema intentan solucionarlo en la mayor brevedad y hacen que te sientas como en casa.
No había agua caliente. La limpieza del baño de la habitación dejaba mucho que desear.
The staff was very friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible.. Rooms were very clean and properly cleaned daily. Very tasty food.
There were some issues that got annoying after 7 days of the same problem.
For example, there were never enough glasses for water on the table. Even after asking every meal for extra glasses, we ended up having to share our glass almost every time.
The bar ran out of soda or any other drink after two days, and it took them multiple days to refill the fridge. This made us have to go to a hotel nearby every time for drinks.
The kitesurf material that could be rented was very well priced, but not in the best condition. If you want excellent material that has been well taken care of, I suggest going to a different rental.spot.
Two of the rooms we booked had a good shower. However, in the third room there was almost no water coming out of the shower head. This made us have to use the shared bathroom from the camping, which was not ideal.
Very good value for money. The staff were attentive and genuinely friendly, and the food was great — especially the fresh fish. The kite facilities are nice and the North Lagoon spot had wind every day.
The tent was comfortable and the whole place had a relaxed, familiar atmosphere. They also organized a traditional evening with singing and a bonfire, which was a really nice touch. Thank you!
The internet connection works but reception could be improved.
The staff was amazing, so helpful and kind: Oussama l'ambassadeur with Omar on the service, Abraham on the room clean, and the amazing kiteschool guys: the best of the best Ayman who made our kite progression and stay 5-stars, Youssef, Ahmed and so many more! A fun team of people that we call friends at the end and that have made our stay exceptional!
Food was delicious and accomodation perfect right on the spot to kite all day! Highly recommend
- personnel vraiment aux petits soins, que ce soit le cuisinier pour faire au mieux niveau horaire pour nos repas, les mono du centre de kitesurf pour nous organiser nos trips à la dune blanche ou au secret spot
- repas très bons ! (Ce n’est pas un buffet comme ailleurs à Dahkla)
- superbe vue sur le lagon
- Tente à éviter +++ : alors certes c’est pas cher, mais clairement trop de poussière + il fait vraiment très chaud à l’intérieur …

La comida, ambiente, servicio inmejorable y ubicación. Se portaron genial, nos acercaron a otras ubicaciones para hacer kite porque no tuvimos suerte con el viento. El servicio de Osama digno de mencionar; súper cercano y muy atento con todo
