Nice place. Very relaxing
A bit expensive
Awesome place, very nice interior and facilities. Located just by the sea 😍 highly recommend
Beautifully decorated. The bungalows all face the beach and are very conveniently located. The hosts and staff were extremely welcoming and helpful!
Nice rooms, great place, clean and nice friendly staff
Internet could be a bit better and more drinks
Tranquil and wild spot. Beautiful view
Very helpful staff
Price of meals that were high
We booked to stay here twice.
The first time happened to be the first day of our honeymoon and we were really looking forward to relaxing for a couple days after taking 5 flights across the globe for 3 days. When there are 5 long-haul flights involved you can never be certain as of date and time of arrival. So as a precaution due to the Hotel no-refund policy we kept an eye on availability of bookings. When we were certain we made all the flights we booked the left over available dates via booking.com in advance and got 2 confirmations. We attempted many calls, texts and messages via app directly to hotel but didn’t get a response about transfer from airport. It took us 1 hour to find a random 4x4 driver (who then stopped for 30 min at his house and left us in the car waiting without an explanation) and then a 40 min drive for 40€ and walk along the sand carrying all our kite equipment & suitcases because there is no road to hotel.
After finally even making it to the Bungalow and getting situated in the room we were abruptly told we can only stay one night because they have a double booking. For our 2nd booking it’s ok but for our 1st booking we need to leave. I then asked why they unapologetically kick us out instead of informing the guest who hasn’t arrived yet and not made the journey to hotel. The owner responded that the other booking was made 3 hours prior to ours. When I asked why there isn’t a system in place to avoid this, he told us he‘s a very important man, has lots of important businesses all over Madagascar and Europe and this is his weekend house and there are only 5 bungalows, 3 to rent and 2 are for him and his friends. Those to me should all be indicators of having a system in place to avoid double bookings and knowing how to adress a guest in a potential mishaps. Because it was a weekend it could be that a bungalow was used by his friends, i’m just guessing here..
Mattress was very uncomfortable.

They had an overbooking and said we need to leave. We came unto an agreement but only a lengthy and tiresome discussion.
I have stayed at differnt bungalows at Sakalava Beach and this is among the nicest. Compared to the other places it's very quiet there. There is a restaurnt which serves nice breakfast but other than that I have not seen anyone eating there. Therefore, if you want to have a very quiet spot without a "kite camp" atmosphere this is your place.
Staff is great and bungalow is amazing
Like everywhere at Sakalava the sweetwater is salty but it seems that they have evene saltier water than the other bungalows.
Price is compared to the other bungalows hihg. Usually you pay this price including halfboard at Sakalava Beach
