Pros:

Individual houses, great manager & staff, unique place to stay

Cons:

It’s too far away from Tofo beach for us & an expensive taxi ride there & back. There was no shampoo or conditioner. There is a huge sand dune in front of the houses so no view of the ocean. You can see a slither of it from the 2nd floor balcony. There was major construction next to the property as they’re building another lodge/house, so it was quite noisy. The restaurant & bar was closed the entire time, so we had to go into Tofo to eat.

No water pressure for showers is a problem
Pros:

The location was great, Luis was exceptional.

Cons:

Being unable to have a shower. The water dribbles out of the shower head. We used a bucket to catch it and then clean ourselves. Everyday it was like this.

The stove top was really slow to use and the double bed upstairs was hard as concrete. We ended up sleeping on single beds downstairs.

Singila is magical
Pros:

Location, setting, sea view, value for money and the staff were all lovely, Emmanuel and Luis are real assets to the lodge!

Cons:

A bit of maintenance and TLC is needed, the shower had a trickle of water and when you put the hot on no pressure at all, the stoves do not work well at all, we tried three different ones. Singila has loads of potential. Car port for shade would be great. A pool is mentioned and should be removed to avoid dissatisfied guests, also take photos of the pool off all platforms. Be more active of social media, it looks unsupported when you have last posted in March 2023, encourage your guests to tag and make mentions on social media too. Construction next door disturbed the peace a bit but obviously unavoidable by Singila.

Cons:

Very low hot water supply in the shower. Stove in poor condition with slow element heating.

Access to the beach is at the best dangerous. No stairs with railing and dangerous wood logs and protroding wooden pegs.

Good value and a fantastic location
Pros:

The close proximity to the beach is absolutely phenomenal and the sunrises from your balcony are magical. We eventually stayed for 4 nights and Luis was a great host. The ladies who clean are exceptional because they clean everyday and the place is very secluded with a nice sea view and did I mention it's beach front too.

Cons:

Water pressure a little low and wooden stairs to the beach need a little TLC but otherwise the place is still worth it to go

Great stay-with a bit of care and attention Singile has the opportunity to really stand out in Tofo
Pros:

Situated approx. 2km from the main Tofo beach, it is ideal for those wanting to be a little bit further out, but must have a car to get to and from the main beach and Tofo Market. Luis is an absolute gem and incredibly knowledgable, kind and assisted us whenever we required. The bungalows are ideally located a short walk behind the dunes, to the beach. All the items one might need to be comfortable and enjoy your stay. The bungalow was exceptionally clean and the staff cleaned every day which was a bonus

Cons:

The bungalows are in dire need of a bit of TLC. Maintenance is required. Water pressure is a huge problem but it is easy to sort out. Lack of facilities - pool has been closed since April - but the website makes no mention of this. It's nice for kids to swim after a long day on the beach.

Comfortable, clean and quiet.
Pros:

Beautiful hut, extremely close to the beach. Had a lovely platform to eat breakfast on and watch whales. Bed was comfy. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Cons:

A bit rundown, but comfortable and clean.
