Worst room so far
Pros:

Staff was friendly

Cons:

The room was really small and run down. The paint was comming of the wall and the doors. The room smellt strongly of a chemical cleaning solution, inkl. the bedsheets which were stained. The mattresses were old and had no support anymore. There was no window you could open.

A surprisingly good place to sleep and eat.
Pros:

Breakfast was buffet with a wide variety of foods and eggs in a nice dining hall.
Bed was comfortable, big shower, good parking in front of rooms in fenced-in area.
Did not need aircon (only 7 C this night) but room is equipped with AC and TV.
Its a quiet area.
Dinner was also very nice. I recommend the lamb curry.

Es war der perfekte Stop auf dem Weg nach Namibia. Das Essen war super! Empfehlenswert!
Pros:

Das alte Hotel hatte viel Flair,….es gab auch ein kleines, kostenloses, sehr interessantes, Museum. Werner, der Manager machte uns auf das Museum aufmerksam,……sehr nett!!!

Cons:

There was a leaking on the roof, we called the reception to report it. They sent someone to check, but they just left without cleaning the floor which was slippery and dirty.

Top Adresse für einen Zwischenstopp
Pros:

Das Hotel eignet sich bestens für einen Zwischenstopp. Das gesamte Personal war super freundlich. Besonders erwähnenswert ist das Essen, welches ausgezeichnet war. Top Preis Leistungsverhältnis!

Extremely comfortable inn, with excellent history, ambiance and hospitality.
Pros:

Breakfast good, loved having brewed coffee - unusual in Africa!! ;) and the French press in the room exceptional! Excellent facilities and the historical aspect lovely. Great amenities - a bit for everyone. Room heater, electric mattress pads, insect spray and cream unexpected.

Cons:

my TV didn't tun on. Bathroom tile floor FREEZING. Maybe some disposable slippers provided would help?

Fast nichts erwartet und absolut positiv überrascht gewesen. Gut für einen Zwischenstop.
Pros:

Sehr überraschend in der Stadt dann in das Hotelgelände einzufahren und dann das sehr gut geführte Hotel vorzufinden.
Das Personal ist top geschult und absolut überragend im Restaurant. Nette Terrasse, netter Innenhof.
Sicheres Parken war gegeben.

Cons:

Es ist generell in die Tage gekommen und viel los da auch größere Veranstaltungen durchgeführt werden.

Een goed hotel net buiten Okiep. We waren op weg naar Namibië. Het is een perfect hotel voor een tussenstop.
