Would definitely return, but would like more food options.
Pros:

The location is absolutely perfect, really good terrace and front gardens.

Cons:

Hotel is a bit outdated and not as much food choice as the sister hotel The Argyll.

Very dated establishment and experience set up for older coach parties. Over priced. Helpful staff. Short walk into town

Proximity to water and the upgraded sea view room. Our original room was small, very dark and facing the car park. Way over priced for £145 a night excl b’fast. Staff are helpful and are used to sorting issues, I can see. The room and deal we got in the end was better value for what it all is.

Cons:

Very old fashioned and drab. Hideous black & yellow safety tape across a few steps. Old furniture, zero style or ambiance around the place. Very old fashioned set menu with one sitting for dinner. Like stepping into 1970s. No kids menu!! Coffee served is instant. The entertainment room was very bare with old furniture and not inviting. The pool table has only one working cue.

from start to finish, perfect room, perfect staff, perfect bed, perfect view, even though there was a thunder storm.

Clean, tidy, very helpful staff.
Walking distance to restaurants, pubs and shops
