Pros:

Comfortable, clean, good pool, gym ,albeit a bit small, nice breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. We overslept on the 1st morning because of jet lag and the staff allowed us to have breakfast at 10.30am. The lounge area near the pool has the most amazing views of the city. Have a snack and a drink as the sun goes down or later to enjoy the lights of the city.

Cons:

Gym was a bit small, could really only have 2 people in there in comfort

Pros:

The hotel was in a great location and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were a good size. The rooftop bar was nice. Breakfast was also really good. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay with incredible views
Pros:

The views from the breakfast room/restaurant were amazing. The food and drink prices were fair. Our free breakfast included a buffet and ordering off the menu, with a huge variety of choices and all very good. The room was huge with comfortable chairs and our best shower yet. The pool was beautiful with free huge towels. There were only 6 loungers by the pool but an upper deck had table seating which we used as it was cooler and had more shade. The staff were very, very attentive and kind.

Cons:

Probably the only tiny fault was that our room was described as having a balcony. It was actually a 2 1/2 foot by 3 1/2 foot area with a tiny plastic chair and close up view of a tin roof. Not any thing you would go onto unless you needed a smoke.

Pros:

From the time we arrived the staff made us feel valued and comfortable. Nothing was a problem. Location was very good. Walking distance to many sights. Really good breakfast

Sensational Hotel
Pros:

Wow ! We absolutely loved our stay at Chaiya Palace ... was like a palace to us ! The staff are absolutely exceptional and no request is too hard. I wish we had arranged to stay longer. The pool on the rooftop has a seating area with great views. The pool itself is VERY clean. The new coffee area near reception does a great latte ! We didn't have breakfast included so can't comment on that, even though the restaurant area near the roof top looked very nice. Our twin room was compact but do-able for our 3 nights. We had a small balcony which was good for me to pop out and have a smoke.

Cons:

I found getting into and out of the pool really hard; there is a very large step down to a type of paddling area for kids but no handrails to get yourself into it & out of it safely. You have to go through this area to access the deep pool which did have steps and handrails (yes we are older and less sturdy on our feet on wet surfaces).
