In pratica, niente se faccio la valutazione con il prezzo che ho pagato, direi che è in linea alle mie aspettative sicuramente ancora qualche differenza rispetto agli hotel con un target più alto, ma questo si vede anche nella differenza di prezzo

Lovely boutique hotel, quiet and with great breakfast and views.
Pros:

The location was good, just off the main street. Breakfast was excellent, with items you can order included. Staff were exceptional, polite, helpful, always there. The lobby drinks, especially cold ginger honey drink, are so refreshing after a day out. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Fairly quiet. Views from restaurant lovely.

Cons:

If you get a corner room, the bathroom may get tons of sun, and can be really warm (but positive side, your handwash will dry quickly!😆). That was the only quirk during our stay.

If we come to Cambodia again this will be the stay for us for sure.
Pros:

Beautiful room with comfortable bed and everything you need for your stay. Best staff ever and always willing to help with anything you ask for. Close to royal palace and a lot of shops, very convenient location.
Spa was great and the prices are very reasonable.
Swimming pool was amazing and with wonderful view of the city. Buffet breakfast was amazing and I liked the presentation of the desserts and other dishes we ordered.

Cons:

Nothing at all. This was the best hotel from the other 3 hotels we stayed in Cambodia.

Superb Staff make the Hotel a Fantastic Stay
Pros:

As retired Australian’s, we travel Asia full time. We’ve stayed in many great hotels, but Chiaya Palace is up there with the best.

1) The staff have an unbelievable care factor. Everyone one from reception, to cleaning, to restaurant staff, were exceptionally welcoming and nice. Always remembering our names, our room number and what drinks we prefer before we spoke. The staff absolutely make the hotel.

2) Food choice, especially at breakfast is fantastic.

3) Location is also superb, within easy walking to all main areas / attractions

4) The ice cold towels, welcome drink etc. on entry to hotel reception is a very nice touch.

Chaiya Palace is personable. It’s attention on guests and their comfort is first class. Well done.

Cons:

1) The pool area / sky bar is not really welcoming / useable. It’s a shame. It needs revitalising.

Tolles Hotel in sehr guter Lage in Phnom Penh
Pros:

Wir haben vier Nächte im Chaiya Palace verbracht und uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das lichtdurchflutete Premium Deluxe Doppelzimmer bietet ausreichend Platz und Stauraum, ein bequemes Bett, eine spannende Aussicht in zwei unterschiedliche Richtungen sowie einen kleinen Balkon. Gut haben uns die helle Einrichtung und die großen Fenster gefallen. Der Pool auf dem Dach ist klasse zur Abkühlung nach ein paar Stunden Besichtigung in der Hitze der Stadt. Das Frühstück besteht aus einem kleinen Buffet, mit u.a. verschiedenen frischen Obstsorten, und dazu einigen westlichen und asiatischen a la carte Gerichten, die sehr lecker sind und in der Regel schnell zubereitet werden. Es können dabei auch mehrere Gerichte bestellt werden, so wird hier jeder satt. Im Sinne der Vermeidung von Food waste eine absolut sinnvolle und gute Lösung. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, ohne dabei zu aufgesetzt freundlich zu sein (was gerade in Asien manchmal anzutreffen ist). Die Lage haben wir als ideal empfunden. Nicht ganz mittendrin, aber auch nicht zu weit weg, um viele Ziele in einem Spaziergang zu Fuß zu erreichen: Riverside, Königspalast, verschiedene Tempel, etc. Der große Platz vor dem Hotel bietet einige leckere Foodstände und vor allem am Abend lokales Leben. Einfach mal hin setzen und beobachten. Wir waren froh, kein Hotel in den kleinen Gassen der Stadt gewählt zu haben und kommen bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Phnom Penh definitiv wieder.

Cons:

Eine Anregung: Gefehlt hat uns ein großer Ganzkörper-Spiegel, Platz wäre vorhanden. Zudem war eine Wand in dem großen Zimmer vollkommen leer, das wirkte etwas seltsam. Hier wäre, neben einem großen Spiegel, eine kleine Kommode oder Ähnliches eine gute Ergänzung.
