L'accueil du personnel et la terrasse pour profiter de la vue d'Asakusa.
Merci à l'équipe !
Rien tout était parfait.
The best, most friendly and helpful staff ever! Very kind and accommodating. The family room is beautiful and spacious. The rooftop view of the Tokyo Sky Tree at night is spectacular. Thank you for a great stay!
Mooi design, vriendelijk personeel, fijne locatie in Asakusa
Misschien net jammer dat er geen ontbijt werd geserveerd. Ook iets van een bar ontbrak op het dakterras. 7eleven was wel aan de overkant

HOTEL TOMOS ASAKUSA was the perfect place to begin our first trip to Japan. It was our introduction to Japanese hotel life, and we quickly discovered that everything—from the lobby and elevators to the rooms and even the socks provided—seemed just a little bit smaller than what we're used to. It made for a fun and memorable first experience.
The location couldn't have been much better. It was only a short walk from Asakusa Station, Senso-ji Temple, and, of course, Tiger Thai Massage, which became one of my favorite stops during the stay. I highly suggest a four-hand Thai massage, you don't know what part of your body hurts most at any given time! The hotel also offered plenty of useful amenities, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit.
One interesting thing we noticed was that two of the three employees we interacted with appeared to be from other countries. It was a nice reminder that Japan attracts people from all over the world who want to live and work there.
Perhaps my favorite memory, though, had nothing to do with the hotel itself. One of my biggest reasons for coming to Japan was to see a geiko. As we walked from the station toward the hotel after arriving, I spotted one within the first two hours of landing in Japan. It felt like the perfect welcome to a trip I had dreamed about for years. I had, of course, already booked an ozashiki with a geiko and maiko in Kyoto a few days later, but seeing a geiko on the streets of Asakusa was right up there with getting married, or the birth of my daughter. Maybe even more so! (Don't tell my wife or my daughter!)
Summary: A wonderful first introduction to Japan that gave us the perfect start to an unforgettable adventure.
No real complaints. If you're visiting Japan for the first time, just remember that hotel rooms are generally smaller than what many Western travelers are used to—but we expected that and actually found it part of the charm.
Lovely hotel by the river in a quiet and clean neighborhood. Easy walking distance to temple and trains. As our first time in Tokyo, this property made our transition to Japan very easy. Thank you!
