It was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in in Japan.

1. The location was excellent. Asakusa Temple is about an 8-minute walk away, Asakusa Station is 10 minutes, Kaminarimon Gate is 15 minutes, and Tokyo Skytree is also 15 minutes away.

2. We were a family of five and had booked a family room. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable.

3. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Mr. Go and Mr. Minato, in particular, were a great help with our luggage. My Japanese is only basic, but I always want to practice it. Mr. Minato was very patient and made an effort to speak as simple Japanese as possible so I could understand him, even though he speaks very good English.

4. The hotel has a rooftop terrace offering a great view of the Tokyo Skytree.

This hotel is highly recommended.

We loved the open layout of our fifth floor room. It was very spacious, traditional Japanese style sleeping, yet modern. The staff were so friendly and always wanting to help us. The location in Asakusa near the river, and looking over to the tower, was perfect. We loved our walks to the Senso-ji temple in the mornings, along the river, and the Asakusa station for sightseeing missions. The stay at Tomos made our first trip to Japan and Tokyo extra special. Hotel Tomos Asakusa was truly exceptional - one of those rare places that makes your trip feel even more special. The staff were absolutely amazing: warm, thoughtful, and genuinely going above and beyond in every interaction. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, and when we returned for a second stay during our Japan trip because we loved it so much, they kindly upgraded us, which was such a lovely gesture!
The attention to detail throughout the hotel is outstanding. Every little touch feels carefully thought through: eye masks, complimentary water and coffee, origami details, and toiletries for every possible need. The premises were spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay.
The location is also fantastic - in the heart of Asakusa, about a 10-minute walk from the metro, with a bus stop right in front of the hotel, a Seven Eleven just across the street, and laundry facilities conveniently downstairs. Everything about this hotel felt easy, welcoming, and perfectly designed for travelers. We’ll definitely be back!!!

Amazing staff, great views from rooftop, great toiletries included wish I didn’t have my own to use! Great location to local sights and train stations

It was exceptionally clean and tidy, enough room for 2 adults and 3 children 11,8 and 6. The layout was great, tea and coffee downstairs. Staff were amazing and went above and beyond with anything and everything needed.
