Beautiful place. Relaxing stay.
Pros:

The location was beautiful and peaceful with fields of sheep and wild deer. The building is elegant and the rooms very comfortable. Excellent breakfast in an airy, bright, classic room. Staff approachable and friendly.

Pros:

The staff were excellent, helpful, friendly and professional. The food was excellent and the accommodation was comfortable, clean and practical. Location was good with easy access to the grounds.

Cons:

The only slight disappointment, given the stay was a special treat, was the inconsiderate language used by a loud group of men who were in a dining room occupied by several couples when there was a separate private dining room available. On request we were moved to a table furthest away from this group which helped considerably.

4 sterren twijfelachtig
Pros:

Omgeving en park.
Ontbijt

Cons:

Heel nare ervaring

One the best experiences we've had at a hotel in a very long time.
Pros:

Everything was fantastic. The staff and service. The room. The building and grounds. The food. I can't say enough about it. Really hoping we can return some day.

With the exception of my room, my stay was a splendid experience - I'll be back!
Pros:

Superb restaurant with a nicely-balanced menu, complemented beautifully by a very well-chosen wine list - though some prices in the latter were more than a little high.

Staff were excellent - polite, knowledgeable, competent and very well-turned out

Cons:

My room, Keats, needs a complete rethink. I like to read in bed but without a headboard, this was not possible, The TV was tucked into a nook, couldn't be seen from the bed and no seating was conveniently placed for viewing - and so on. A smaller, single bed would release space to deal with these issues.

There were also far too many fripperies on the bed that all had to be removed before I could get in. This is a common fault across the hotel sector where competitive piling of totally unnecessary stuff on beds is rife!
