Disappointing as the building itself is beautiful. It’s been let down.
Pros:

The fact that there was no running water in the morning, no communication that this had happened, and with a long drive ahead of us was really disappointing, supposedly the hotel were unaware it was going to happen, so, if true not their entire fault but how they dealt with it was really disappointing, no refund for not being able to use the full facilities. Complained to both the hotel itself and booking.com and no surprise neither have communicated. I also had to downsize my room, not a problem but paying the same price for the room I should have had was again very disappointing. I would also suggest window coverings are used in the conservatory where we ate our breakfast, the beaming sun in the hot conditions were not great, the brackets are up but no blinds. You can tell this is a chain and just numbers to whoever own it. Disappointed in both the hotel and booking.com.

Cons:

No hot water, overpriced room.

Pros:

Lovely location and stayed there before but complete contrast this visit

Cons:

Was given a Mews room over the laundry area so very noisy with trolleys. Also no water in the property for morning shower or wash, could not clean teeth. No compensation offered.

Staying at your beautiful hotel provided a truly restorative stay, offering a peaceful and healing
Pros:

The location, the house, the room, the restaurant, the staff (we loved! Particularly in the bar and we loved that they loved their jobs).

Cons:

We were a little concerned about privacy and whether we were being overlooked from the room opposite when we opened the curtains. We were in La Bibliotheque.
