While the hotel offers peace and quiet with amazing views, it is very isolated, so difficult to hang out in town if that's something you'd like to do.
Everything was perfect and this is, honestly, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed!
Rooms are huge, very clean, very comfy beds with different pillow types.The views from the hotel are astonishing.
Hotel staff was very kind and going extra mile to help.Also the manager, Mrs Miracle is such a great person.
I will for sure use this hotel on all my trips to Gondar!
This resort is perfect! Perfect views, beds, rooms, food, location, and everything!
The rooms are huge! The bathrooms have their own hot water heaters. Every room has a view of the surrounding mountains. The beds are super comfy! You feel at peace at this resort.
The resort is tucked away on the mountain from the hustle and bustle of Gonder. The staff are very helpful. Most don't speak English (fluently) but they work hard to understand and accommodate.
Our stay was too short and I hope to return again very soon!
No phones in the room to call reception. The complex is pretty big so if you have limited mobility this could be an issue for you if you can't reach the desk to request a golf cart. We didn't have cellular service and wifi is spotty so made it hard to communicate with the front desk. Also, No Amex accepted.
Gondar Hills is an amazing place. They go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and special. The meals were delicious with lots of variety. The manager even took the time to drive a skirt left in our room to the airport for us
Definitely stay here if you visit Gondar!!
