The staff were so kind and lovely and helpful. Very nice views around the hotel and the hotels restaurant. Cute little dogs around! Extremely good value for money considering the lovely staff and views. Rooms were clean. Got picked up for ha Giang loop by mamas for free the next day too which is good to know!

Een goed verblijf alvorens de tour van start gaat!
Pros:

Ik had een Ha Giang loop tour geboekt bij Lotus, dus een nacht voor de tour in de dorm verblijven was ideaal. Tina aan de receptie is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam! De tour zelf was uitstekend! Kem was de leider en zorgde voor een onvergetelijke ervaring!

Loutus is the best choice of the hagiang,they provide free breakfast buffet including 15 different varieties of fresh veggies fruits and proteins, staples,respect they're unprofit indea,some guest grabbing very much like 3 plates at the same time,so they're can save money from the food because in the way already have enough nutrition to running the whole day maybe two days.
The most important reason people stayed at loutus is swimming pool,as you can see on the advertisement pictures has some people swimming there,so after the check in i went to the pool,and i found i don't understand how to swim,so I soaked my body and then I felt thirsty but i don't have any water to drink,so I tried some of the pool water. that's fine,it's the fresh natural river from the hill,taste sweet and minerals……
On the day I stayed at the dormitory there were only French girl and i ,she can speak influence French language ,and made phone call at the midnight for 2 hours,so i had to listen to her conversation with others, even though i like her accent that's seemingly morocco,the dormitory is built on the hill so you can feel moist air and musty smell that kept me awake the whole night,in spite I opened window and door,but doesn't work,I looked out of window at the night scene started to missing Sahara desert that's very dry,very very dry

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The level of hygiene was honestly disgusting. The bathroom was dirty, covered in mold, and there was a huge spider inside, which made us feel very uncomfortable.

The swimming pool was another major disappointment. One of the reasons we booked this hotel was to have a place to cool off from the intense heat, but the pool was green, clearly not being properly maintained, and looked filthy. We couldn’t bring ourselves to use it, which was a huge letdown.

The food was just as bad. It looked unhygienic, lacked quality, and was honestly laughable. We didn’t feel confident eating there after seeing the conditions.

The only person who was consistently kind and helpful was Tina. Although there wasn’t much she could do to fix the issues we experienced, she always tried her best to help us and was the only staff member who made us feel genuinely cared for.

That said, we also booked the Ha Giang Loop tour through the hotel, and that experience was excellent. The tour was well organized, enjoyable, and the staff involved made it a really pleasant experience. It’s a shame that such a good tour was paired with such poor hotel accommodations.

Overall, the Ha Giang Loop experience was a highlight of our trip, but the hotel’s cleanliness, food quality, poor maintenance, and communication issues made our stay very unpleasant. We would not recommend staying at the hotel, even though we would recommend the tour.

De kamer was prima, de massage ook.
Grab werkt niet altijd goed in Ha Giang was prettig dat receptie een taxi voor ons boekte.

Cons:

Eigenlijk alles! Het zwembad was groen en vies en werd vooral gebruikt door buurtkinderen. Bij de receptie zat vaak niemand dus voor het boeken van een massage zijn we eerst 3x langs gelopen alvorens er iemand was. Ook de loslopende honden die duidelijk heel veel jeuk hadden en binnen plasten vonden wij niet hygiënisch.

Zeer behulpzame medewerkers
Pros:

Nadat we geboekt hadden nam de locatie contact met ons op. De Lotus Group kan allerlei tours en activiteiten aanbieden/regelen voor zeer scherpe prijzen. Voor ons hebben ze de reis van Sa Pa naar Ha Giang, de Ha Giang Loop (4dagen) en de reis terug naar Hanoi geregeld. Allemaal van zeer goede kwaliteit en aanzienlijk goedkoper dan bij andere (plaatselijke) aanbieders. Ze zijn super behulpzaam en goed bereikbaar.

Cons:

De drankselectie in het hotel is erg beperkt. Verwacht geen wijn o.i.d., naast bier en fris is er niets te krijgen.
