THE LIGHT APARTMENT

Room we stayed had ants the staff sprayed but it didn't really work so we had to always clear our bed and kitchen area. Bathroom is also very dark and tiny, unsuccessful at taking a hot shower most times

We tried to check-in 10 mins before check-in which wasn’t possible. Then at 2pm we tried to check in again and the receptionist said this was not possible, with no explanation and tried to avoid talking to us (maybe if she had not much experience she should have advised she needed to wait for her manager to support rather than avoid us and text on her phone…?) I think we wait almost an hour to check in even though we were there on time, I would have preferred the message us to let us know the would need extra time so we didn’t waste our day. The bathroom drain smelt really bad, and the toilet was broken. The bed sheets seemed clean but had loads of marks and stains (so maybe not deep cleaned?) also very minimal space to hang towels, so they were damp the whole time we stayed there.

The ants, also the kitchen tops didn’t look that clean and smelt very strongly of lemon!

Can't complain about anything really but I did get for a very good price. Its my third stay here and won't be my last hopefully 👍

Das Zimmer war nicht richtig sauber und ich habe als erstes Spülmittel gekauft und die Oberflächen, besonders von Tisch, gereinigt. Manche Nächte ist es nachts laut, so dass man mit Ohrstöpseln schlafen muss. Durch die Balkontür scheint nachts viel Licht rein, so dass ich mit einer Schlafbrille schlafen musste.

- When I booked the place, they said okay for an early checkin, around 11am instead of 2pm. Then the day before arrival, I asked confirmation. Then it wasn't possible anymore. No apology, no explaination, not even a warning. They just answered like if there never even was an agreement before. Then on arrival, they said maybe at 1pm. in the end, I was allowed to enter the room at EXACTLY 2pm, the normal time. It's extremely unprofessional. I doubt it would be like that somewhere else.

- Cockroaches (apparently happens to every place anyway). They usually appear in the bathroom, so I guess there's an "entrance". I had 5 in 3 months

- The room is above the reception. When the noise is not too loud, you hear it, but it's fine. But sometimes people scream. Apparently it's the staff, seems to be the same person, a girl (I don't know who). And you hear it very clearly. it's annoying, and not really normal...

- A few internet issues, but 95% of the time it's fine

- For weeks, once per week they contacted me to know if I wanted my room cleaned. I answered apparently too late (because I was sleeping late), and said yes. After I said yes. They just left me on read. Several times. The truth is the cleaning staff wasn't there anymore. They could have told me that. But instead: they left me on read. Quite unexpected from a hotel.

- Humidity issue in the bathroom, so over weeks the shower had some white and black mold growing.

- They often stopped the food delivery guy when he was headed to my door. So I had to get dressed and go down instead of just picking it up at my door.

- Sometimes put music in reception. since you hear everything : you hear it. Not great when you want quiet. They should know....

- AC started dropping water for the 2 last days. Also the inside of it is full of mold.
