Very charming hotel vintage style in a peaceful district. Free shuttle service to go to the old market which is also reachable by feet (15mn).
Nice swimming pool and good breakfast. Complimentary massages.

The hotel requires some basic upkeep in areas because of hot climate. Hotel did not always have all menu items. Requested breakfast box for early morning trip which was not available.
Exceptional service from the staff and Davis in particular.
The rooms and especially bathrooms are somehow dated with lighting being the biggest problem in bathroom.

The staff are amazing. Led by the incredible Pisey, they do everything in their power to create a warm and hospitable environment. Pisey helped us set up great tours to Angkor Wat and surrounding temples and also to Tonle Sap lake. All were super interesting and we made sure to take lots of breaks to refresh and conserve our energy.
Guest Service Representative Pi Sey was helpful, courteous, personable, and thoroughly professional. The spa is small but offered great service. Relaxing pool area. Enjoyed the Cambodian artifacts displayed throughout the hotel.
Oasis-like setting in the middle of the city. Salt water pool. Free 60 minutes massage every day. Clever restaurant menu and excellent service. Personal concierge Davis is amazing.

We were actually upgraded to the sister hotel Mane Hariharalaya. Like the ‘History Lovers’ hotel it was superb. The staff were absolutely amazing with the superstar being Many our personal butler.
Mane History Lovers is an excellent boutique hotel. The hotel has real character and charm with antiques and art throughout the property. The rooms are large and comfortable.
The staff are simply superb. Without exception, they were polite, helpful and professional but without being overbearing. The pick up and drop off service for the airport was faultless with arrival at the hotel incredibly smooth.
The food was excellent. The Asian and Cambodian dishes were of the highest quality with the red curry being the stand out dish. The cocktails are also amazing!
We also had a very relaxing massage at the spa. Certainly one of the best we have had anywhere. It is a great little facility.
We have no criticism of the hotel but just a word of warning for anyone getting a ‘visa on arrival’ at Siem Reap airport. The counter will only accept pristine US Dollars if you are paying in cash. They rejected some slightly ripped notes we presented. Fortunately, we had enough cash that was pristine!
Great and friendly staff, always there to help, really going the extra mile - very helpful in organizing tours and excursions and local transport.

Unique style and character situated just a little outside the busiest area of the town. Some fantastic restaurants at the end of the road with a mix of styles. The staff were all amazing and couldn’t do enough for you.
Part of the charm was the older nature of the building, but little things like power sockets and USB connectors could be updated (not a complaint but Booking asked for a negative!!)
