We had a fabulous stay at Erve Hulsbeek and are looking forward to visiting again next year.
Pros:

Our hotel room was clean and spacious and perfect for our 3 nights stay. The breakfast and evening meals were delicious, and served in a lovely restaurant. The hotel is set in a lovely woodland landscape, close to the town of Oldenzaal and beside some pretty lakes. The staff are some of the loveliest we have met; friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. ☺️

Fijne lokatie maar erg basic hotel tegen te hoge prijs voor deze kwaliteit.
Pros:

Ligging erg mooi en verzorgde tuinen

Cons:

Erg basic kamers. Geen goodies in badkamer (tissues bijna op, verder alleen zeep)
Geen verwarming in badkamer. Heel erg koud en onaangenaam. Spiegels besloegen ook meteen bij douchen. Dit kan echt niet voor deze prijs.
Kamer voldoende ingericht maar alles sober.
Ontbijt uitstekend.
Kortom prijs kwaliteit niet in orde.

Het was jammer dat de croissantjes niet vanzelf aangevuld werden. Terwijl men wist dat er nog mensen moesten komen voor het ontbijt. Toen ik er naar vroeg, werden er nog 2 mini croissantjes neergelegd. Dat vind ik verkeerde zuinigheid. Maar: verder was het ontbijt uitstekend!!

Prima locatie voor een (mid)weekendje weg met de hond om te wandelen, fietsen en tot rust te komen!
Pros:

Een prachtige locatie aan het Hulsbeek park, midden in de natuur. Zeer vriendelijk familiehotel, waar honden meer dan welkom zijn. Zelfs bij het ontbijt of avondeten mocht onze trouwe viervoeter mee. En het ontbijt en diner zijn uitstekend, ruime keuze en erg lekker. De bediening is zeer vriendelijk. De kamers zijn ook erg netjes, een mooie bijkomstigheid was dat onze kamer zelfs voorzien was van een tweezits bankje. Ook leuk is dat er mooie kleinere plekjes in de nabijheid zijn, zoals Ootmarsum, Borne en Denekamp.

Cons:

De ensuite badkamer is zeker praktisch en scheelt enorm in ruimte (en was ook netjes!) - echter vind ik het persoonlijk fijner om een afgesloten ruimte te hebben (met name voor het toilet). Verder was de smart TV niet verbonden met Internet, waardoor die mogelijkheden niet gebruikt konden worden. Gelukkig waren er wel genoeg gewone TV zenders aanwezig. Maar, dat weerhoudt ons er echt niet van om opnieuw naar deze prachtige locatie te komen!
