Everything about the hotel is just great.
Near to death experience thanks to the driver given to us by the hotel reception.
We reached Kazbegi with a professional, decent driver from GoTrip. Even though the road took us 6 hours instead of 3 and the road conditions were just horrific, we felt relatively safe.
On return, however, we had to ask the hotel reception to find us a driver (for double the price). This driver spent the whole road on his phone while speeding madly and overtaking recklessly. Even though we had spent 3 weeks travelling in Georgia and Armenia, on this drive from Kazbegi to Tbilisi all four of us felt quite traumatised by the experience and seriously doubt if we return to Kazbegi.
The facilities, space, thoughtfulness of the staff, the street dogs that were allowed into the location, menu. We would have loved to spend a few extra days longer.
The view, the design, the staff and the breakfast here are amazing.
Count up to 6 hours for the road to get here and prepare for the risks of avalanches, the most terrible road conditions and the kamikaze drivers.

Questo hotel è paradisiaco: offre una vista mozzafiato sul monte Kazbegi, ti accoglie con un servizio avvolgente, elegante e discreto, dove ogni dettaglio è perfettamente studiato e impeccabile, e l’atmosfera è rilassata e pigra.
Le colazioni sono superbe: ricche, con una varietà di proposte eccezionale e da leccarsi le dita.
La piscina è un piccolo gioiello incastonato nella struttura.
È difficile trovare un difetto… proprio sforzandosi, i cuscini sono troppo alti e gli asciugacapelli nel bagno di scarsa qualità 😅

რესეფშენის გოგოებს განსაკუთრებული მადლობა . ძალიან ყურადღებიანები, თბილები და ყოველთვის მზად იყვნენ დახმარებისთვის. ზოგადად, პერსონალიც ძალიან მეგობრული იყო და იგრძნობოდა, რომ მართლა ზრუნავენ სტუმრებზე. საუზმეც ძალიან გემრიელი იყო. დიდი მადლობა ასეთი კარგი გარემოსთვის

Staff is not very warm nor proactive with service. The front desk ladies are very friendly but the me in particular for breakfast were very abrupt and not friendly
Stunning architecture and design, with a panoramic view of the mountains. The room and common areas are welcoming and clean. The bed is big and comfortable. Lots of services provided: swimming pool with sun beds, spa, wine tasting activities. Breakfast is tasty and varied. A bit pricey, but would definitely stay again.
Overall a very good experience, but we didn't like the lack of separation between dry and wet areas in the bathroom. The air conditioning/heating made the air very dry on our second night, which wasn't ideal. The restaurant food, whilst not as bad as several reviews have it, is definitely not the best meal we had in Georgia. The restaurant service could be a bit more attentive.
