Pros:

The room was perfect for a family, the beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast is top notch. The grounds around the property are beautiful and I went for a lovely walk to the castle ruins.

Mid week break
Pros:

The setting of hotel was super, surrounded as it was with the golf course.

Cons:

Perhaps the availability of direct car access to the reception would be helpful. As opposed to checking in and then returning to your parked car after having to remove the post from the drive way in order to drive to the front of the hotel and take cases from the boot. Then return the car to parking area, replacing said post.
