The staff were very friendly, professional and courteous, the rooms were clean and very comfortable.
There was a job interview taking a public space where food was being served. It should have been held in private.
The room was extremely comfortable and great location.
The food was good but the resturant was a little bland. Thwy could create a better ambiance.
Lovely staff, good location, food was delicious and fresh.
No hot water our first night so I had to use their spa shower but it was fixed on the Saturday and we did get a small refund on check out.
Location was remote but beautiful surroundings and view was golf course with background to mountain range. The breakfast was amazing with buffet style and one cooked breakfast each from a menu specially made and fresh. Comparable to a 5 star hotel we also stayed at in Rosses Point, Castle Dargan was much better. The personal touch with food was fantastic. We travelled with our elderly mum and the hotel staff were very helpful and offered yoghurt and bread and butter when she couldn’t eat. Free of charge. Loved the breakfast and cleanliness. Great staff too. (Including the new young lady who initially served us in the bar).
Staff were amazing and literally couldn’t fault anything. Very good rate, inclusive of good breakfast. Thank you.
Excellent
The bar area could be more comfortable it was nicer before upgrade it was very deserted people just got their drinks and disappeared with drinks
Lovely place for a quiet retreat. Good location if doing various outdoor tourist attractions.
No great lobby area for hanging out.
Breakfast was excellent and staff were very helpful and friendly. Our suite was very spacious and comfortable. The location was lovely and I walked down to take some photos of the famous Castle Dargan. Overall , excellent value for money.
The only thing missing for us was a cosy bar to have a drink in after our meal. We ended up going to a pub in the village. We felt the food and service in the restaurant was very good but it lacked atmosphere and was a bit on the cool side the night we were there.
The room we had was fantastic. It was in the Main house. I thinks that what it was called. Really large great view of the golf course. The bathroom was big with large bathtub and a shower. There was a bottle of wine in the room when we arrived. I can't remember if I added that, but so what it was cool and noted to us.
The location, The Facilities, the overall experience.
