Royal Galápagos Inn

The rooms were pretty dirty. We did not get clean linens every day. Bugs appeared in one of the bathrooms and got into some luggage. The property is also under construction so the pictures don’t look like it does in real life.

La realidad es muy distinta a las fotos. Sin agua caliente, mala limpieza, desayuno mediocre. En la noche queda cerrada la entrada al hotel, menos mal nos dieron llave de esa puerta. Decepcionante en todo sentido, mediocre, no lo recomiendo.

There were mosquitos in the room. The hinges of the toilet door gave out a cranky sound when opening the door at night.

L'évier de la salle de bain avait été oublié du nettoyage à notre arrivée.

L'absence de la couverture wifi dans la chambre, le lavabo inadapté dans la sallede bains et le dysfonctionnement du réglage eau chaude/eau froide de la douche.

The only small downside was that the bed was a little too firm for my preference, and the pillows were not very comfortable. However, this was a minor issue, and overall, my experience was excellent.

The actual rooms left a lot to be desired. I was in room nine which is older had ants linens that were not very clean and shower fixtures that definitely needed updating and a fresh paint job. I actually stayed at another property for two days within my stay here and my room was never cleaned while I was gone. Trash wasn't emptied? sheets weren't changed , bed wasn't made. I was very very disappointed at that.

There appears to be a focus on the new construction going on which was noisy and the existing rooms got no attention at all.

The place looks like a construction site - half of the building is demolished and the other half is still standing. It is not clean at all; there is sand in the shower and ants everywhere. The worst part is that there is no hot water. When we contacted the owner, he mostly ignored our concerns and claimed that there was hot water and that we had simply used it all up. The price is far too high for conditions that are comparable to a very poor hostel. I would not recommend staying here.

El hotel cumple con el mínimo y se encontraba en obras. Sería bueno tener certeza sobre el valor final antes de llegar a la reserva y los impuestos aplicables.

When we arrived the hotel was under construction and the bathroom was dirty. The bathroom is not properly sealed so there are bugs and black dirt came out of the shower whenever first used. The location is great so perhaps this could be make up for it, however, the owner is lazy and everything about this hotel is for his convenience. Breakfast finishes early when he needs to go somewhere so he’ll leave it out cold for you. The owner will tell you not to use the aircon for long or change the settings. The hotel is currently under construction which is not mentioned. The owner will make up the surcharge on the spot for paying by card for your stay so you’ll need to get cash out to pay for accomodation. Overall, the quality of service does not make up for the rundown state and current construction of the hotel.
