Staff were really nice and arranged the safari very quickly for us. They always welcomed us when we arrived to the resort. Location was very good and close to both Dambulla and Town centre.
The shower was cold, ants in the shower, breakfast was not what we ordered, the fan was very loud, the tap in the bathroom was temperamental, better lighting needed when sleeping and no mirror in the bedroom.

"This hotel is absolutely fraudulent. Do not be deceived and do not book this place. Yesterday, I made a reservation here for my family. We traveled from Air Port and arrived in Sigiriya at around 10:30 PM. However, when we reached the hotel's location, there was no hotel there at all. It was just a jungle. My family and I were in a very difficult situation at that time because even though we tried to contact the hotel by phone, we received no response from them. Fortunately, our driver helped us and found us another place to stay. When we went there and looked into this further, we found that their Google location is in a different place, and their location on booking.com is near the Sigiriya Rock. It seems booking.com is deceiving people. We actually wanted to stay somewhere relatively close to the Sigiriya Rock, which is why we booked this hotel. This is completely a fraudulent hotel. Booking this will cause you great inconvenience, so please be careful when booking. These people are completely fraudulent."
Great owner and accommodation.
Exceptionally friendly staff. They were immediately available for any needs, volunteered to drive me to Sigiriya, and even act as a tour guide up to the top.
The hotel staff were very hospitable, but at times felt a little bit too much. After driving me to Sigiriya, one of the hotel staff decided on his own that he would accompany me to the top and act as my tour guide. I sometimes like to go slow, look around, explore at my own pace. But the staff person was much more determined that we get to the top of Sigiriya quickly. It felt a little pushy at times. I know he was simply trying to be helpful but it wasn't asked for.
The breakfast was just so-so. Lots of white bread and jello-jelly, which I have no taste for. The omlete and fruit were very good , though.

Booking.com shows location different to the Google maps location.
The host of the property was a lovely guy, made us feel welcome from the moment we turned up, let us check in early and made a great breakfast for us early the following day so that we could hit the road. He was up for a chat and you could see the care he has for the property and its guests. It is located just far enough outside of town that it’s very peaceful and quite and overlooks a lake with plenty of animals to see from the balcony of the rooms, however is only a short trip in to the main part of town. One of the best air conditioned rooms on our trip as well.

Sheet with holes, the bathroom smells like a cesspool, the owner turns off the hot water. And the worst thing is that the Bose Bluetooth speaker that I left in the room was stolen (owner took it over and then he pretended it wasn't him, ruining part of my vacation...)

When we first got there, it was at night and the owner was waiting for us at the entrance. Very very friendly and nice man. He also recommended some activities for us as it was raining when we went, so we had to find something else to do. The owner was amaaaazing with us and he made the stay we had feel very very homey. He was always looking out for us and giving us ideas for what to do for the day, or the next. He also sorted out some tours for us, which was amaziing!! 10/10 would come back and stay here again. Place was nice, room was clean, very nice view also, & away from the usual tourist area so it was always very quiet.
The staff was super friendly and helped us with all the questions that we had plus told us a lot about the area and its history!
They even helped us find a store to buy a Bottle of wine which was not easy to find! We truly Appreciated the effort 😊
We also ate dinner at the hotel one evening which the staff prepared specially for us! We loved every single bit of the meal. It truly tasted like a proper Sri Lankan home made dinner.
The location was also beautiful with nature spreading all around us. It was a very calm location to sleep, but still at a walking distance away from the main attractions of the area.
We can highly recommend it for everyone who enjoys tranquility and nature!
There was nothing that we didn’t like.
Only thing that would have been nice would have been getting breakfast a little earlier on the day of climbing up the Lion’s rock, but that was a minor thing compared to the overall experience.
