perfect for a two night stay, would we stay again - 100% yes. as long as you can climb the hill.
Pros:

Location is good however there is a steep hill to climb to access the hotel, staff were first class, breakfast and dinner was very good. room was very clean, tea, coffee, water and biscuits all available within the room.

Cons:

Our room was a bit basic, could do with redecorating , water stains/ flaking paint on ceiling / walls

Very Poor quality mattress, only 1 member of staff on duty although lovely was to much for 1 person breakfast no served till 9am nothing for people needing to leave early

Superb, can't wait to go back.
Pros:

The Mount Stewart is a brilliant hotel, I've stayed in it on numerous occasions, Staff, Rooms, Food & Location are second to none.

Cons:

The stairs are always a bit of a killer. :-)

The best place to stay in Portpatrick!
Pros:

Nice hotel, but food was a rip off
Pros:

Clean and a nice welcome drink

Cons:

The food on the menu was a complete rip off. £10 for 5 prawns that were tiny and £9 for about 8, small rings of Calamari. I know it’s a hotel, and you expect to pay more, but the food was a rip off. My advice is don’t eat there and go into the village instead
