Great location and service, beautiful rooms, definitely recommended!
Nice and cozy stay!
On a adoré notre jolie chambre avec balcon, sous les toits, on se sent comme à la maison. Elle est bien ensoleillée avec ses grandes baies vitrées, et on est à l’abri des regards grâce aux filtres sur les baies vitrées malgré le vis-à-vis. Il y a une kitchenette dans la chambre, donc on a pu se faire à dîner le soir. Il y a même de quoi faire sa lessive. Le quartier est calme, authentique et très mignon. Il y a des supérettes en bas de la rue, et des transports en commun très proches. Enfin, Celal nous à très bien accueillies à notre arrivée.
When I contacted the host he was very nice and quick to respond. He unclogged the drain within a few hours of mentioning.
The hygiëne is not good. The bathroom was really bad. There was mold everywhere and weird stains in the shower. The drain was clogged, which was fixed when mentioned, but still they can't rent out a room like this.
We didn't dare to look under the bedsheets, but they weren't securely fastened either. It's risky thinking about bed bugs to have no matrass protector.
There was no closet so nowhere to put your clothes.
Noise from the drain from other rooms was very noticable.
There was no one at the reception ever so besides whatsapp we couldn't contact anyone. Nobody cleaned our room during our stay or change of towels.
Really nice hotel! The building is in great condition and has a cozy common area to relax. The staff are super friendly and polite, which makes you feel at home. The rooms are spacious, well-designed, and very comfortable. Plus, it’s in a central area, close to transport, restaurants, and plenty of places to visit.
The surroundings aren’t the cleanest and some nearby buildings look run down, so it might not seem very safe at first, but it actually is.

This location is away from the big touristy areas where the areas are just absolutely crowded with people, yet extremely close to everything you need and want to see in Istanbul. If I come back to Istanbul, I will definitely be staying here again!
Large comfortable room. Friendly staff. It's close enough to everything to be convenient. but far enough away that you can get a good nights sleep. Cecal was a friendly unobtrusive host.
Kitchen facilities were limited.- But seriously who comes to Istanbul to cook 😉
Good communication with the owner. The room was clean & spacious. The bed had clean linens & I slept comfortably.

We stayed there for almost a week and we enjoyed our stay there a lot. It was close to a grocery store and bakery as well as the bus stop. The worker at the property was very nice and would respond to any questions very quickly. The room had a vintage look and the bed was very comfortable. If I go back to Istanbul again, I will definitely stay there!
