Quantness doesn't overcome its shortcomings.
Pros:

Quaint, old hotel in a bad location. Breakfast was decent, albeit over spiced and greasy.

Cons:

Manager was surly; no one on the staff could speak English, the room was small and quite dusty, no closets or dressers, no room safe, no tub or proper shower, no hair dryer or iron in the room, no coffee maker, and situated in a remote poor location.

A homely lovely Haveli in the middle of old town Udaipur close to all the street food stars.
Pros:

the haveli is like a alternate universe in the middle of old town Udaipur - it is lovingly restored while still feeling real. there are alot of details to love in the property and in the room. the resturant at the roof top are nice and casual - I learn too late that there are some rajasthanian special dishes that one can order ahead - next time. it is very much like a home stay rather than a posh Haveli. that is something that we found more endearing. The bed is comfortable and clean, the water is hot and nice in shower.

The location cannot be accessed by even a small 4 wheeler car, we had fun getting to the hotel via auto - the roads are too narrow for anything outside of bikes and auto. it is nicer to get to the hotel earlier in the afternoon rather than when the market is in full swing.

It is literally 2-3 min walk from the street food stars of Udaipur in the old town for me - Paliwal Resturant, Roop Ji Nastra, Lala Misthan Bhandar, Raju Bhai Rabdi Wala. the location is never so good ever if street food is your thing.

Cons:

the level of street noise is notable but manageable - and it quiet down as the market outside quiets down.

In the room - the curtains and day bed mattress seems dusty / dirty and it could be nicer. the room is clean and bedding is fine.

Great stay!
Pros:

Breakfast was included and delicious. Owner was very helpful in all aspects. I stayed for 8 nights in the end as I extended my stay, felt right at home.

Cons:

Only things that could be improved are things the owner has no control over; noise at night and dogs fighting at night - ear plugs are provided and do a great job!

Wonderful stay in a historic haveli with very helpful staff. Would recommend.
Pros:

Great location, in walking distance to all the main attractions. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive, arranging taxis, tuk tuks, airport transfer, restaurant bookings. The property was old and historic with lots of character. The restaurant was excellent and very good value. Indeed we ate out at the Leela Palace (fine dining) and whilst the Leela Palace’s Sheesh Mahal’s food was excellent, it was also very expensive. I actually thought the food at the Haveli’s restaurant was nicer (and a lot cheaper). I would definitely recommend trying the restaurant if you’re staying here. You can also get a beer or glass of wine with dinner. The staff team are all very friendly and helpful. The room had fresh towels and the bed made each day by room service. Also fresh bottled water in the room each day. There was a good selection on the breakfast menu which is included in the room price. The coffee was great at breakfast.

Cons:

I personally found the mattress very uncomfortable (I have problems with back pain and the mattress made my back pain increase). I would suggest a new mattress or maybe a hotel mattress topper would help resolve this. Also the day bed area in the room, the cushions were a little dirty.

Very happy with our stay. Would definitely come again.
Pros:

Beautiful old Haveli in the center of town. Easy walk to everything. The staff are amazing - friendly and very helpful. They have a very nice rooftop restaurant and the food is excellent.

Cons:

Due to the nature of Havelis, the accommodation is a little more rustic than in a brand new hotel. The charm far outweighs that issue in my opinion.

Very hospitable staff and felt like home

It is located in the heart of the old city and conveniently close to all attractions. Mr Divya took personal care to ensure that we were comfortable and also to help organise experiences within the city

Cons:

It was nice. It is a very old bungalow converted to a hotel so I am sure that there are limitations with that but they have done a very good job about it

Pros:

The location is within walking distance to Lake Pichola. The room was appropriate for a short visit in the heart of everything. The bathroom was a good size, with tub and shower accommodations. The staff was very helpful and went overboard to make us feel welcomed.

Cons:

We would suggest the option for more air ventilation in the room.
