A peaceful resort with a beautiful view.Room was well maintained. Breakfast was delicious.sajith,the owner , made our stay very comfortable.

Останавливалась здесь на неделю. Комната очень чистая, есть вентилятор, кондиционер, чайник. Уютная терраса, завтрак был включен, что очень удобно)) Есть парковка. Мне помогали в любых возникших вопросах и сложностях. Подсказали где арендовать байк, вызвали мне рикшу. Хозяева были очень добры и приветливы. Спасибо им огромное за отдых

Excellent experience

This is a hidden gem. We arrived much earlier than expected. Sajit welcomed us with drinks and prepared the room immediately at no extra cost and was very accommodating.
The room was simple, but spacious, clean, 2 fans and good AC. Comfortable bed. The shower was cool but that didn't bother us. Bathroom very clean. 5 min walk to a bit of beach with no one on it! No amenities as it is tucked away. Sea a little choppy but OK for a dip. Marari beach is 4km down the road so very easy to access.

Sajit brought us tea and biscuits in the afternoon which was a lovely surprise. Dinner at Boban was incredibly affordable but you must say the number of each dish you want (2x curry for 2 people). It's delivered to outside your room.

Included breakfast had plenty of food and was tasty. Sajit or someone else is on hand via message/WhatsApp and responds quickly. Strong WiFi. Incredible value for the whole stay. Can't recommend enough.

The Ambience was super good. Good food, friendly host and the family. The villa was near the private beach. Just a walkable distance. Neat and clean space.

Great hospitality!

My fiancé and I recently went on a 3-day trip to Kumarakom and Marari, and we stayed at Marari Boban's Villa. Our experience there was nothing short of exceptional. The property is absolutely beautiful, and the hospitality we received made it feel like a home away from home.

We checked in late at night around 10:45 PM, yet Mr. Sajith Boban, the host, welcomed us with a warm smile and a refreshing glass of juice. From that very moment until the time we departed—with his kind wishes for a safe journey—he made sure we felt cared for and comfortable. He is truly the reason our stay became so memorable.

Mr. Sajith is incredibly polite, warm, and welcoming. His kind attitude and attention to detail stood out throughout our stay. We had originally planned to stay in Kottayam for just two days and then head to Cochin, but after experiencing such genuine hospitality, we cancelled our Cochin plans and extended our stay by another day at Boban’s Villa.

The breakfast served every morning was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and prepared with so much care. The room we stayed in was simple yet aesthetically designed, offering both comfort and charm.

The most unforgettable part of the trip was a surprise birthday celebration planned just for me. I had no idea what was coming! With Mr. Sajith’s incredible support, my fiancé and friends were able to organize everything in secret. We had a beautiful, private spot at the property for the celebration, and Sajith kindly guided them with the decorations and arrangements. It was truly magical and touched my heart deeply.

If you choose Boban’s Villa, be prepared to forget the word "No". Sajith goes above and beyond to ensure his guests are happy and comfortable. This is, without a doubt, one of the most recommended stays we’ve ever had.

My friends and I thought to spend some quiet days at the conclusion of our trip in India and we could not find a better place than Marari Bobans villa! Sanjit and his family were exceptionally nice to guarantee a comfortable stay in their guesthouse. The rooms have AC and are clean. They cooked for us lunch and dinner and the food was very tasty and freshly made. There is a small hidden beach at 5 minutes walking from the guesthouse where you can relax. I recommend to follow the backwater tour organized by Sanjit in Kumarakom. He planned a no-touristic visit of local activities during the tour. I think it is a good place for who likes nature and local homestays.
