Pros:

Meine Eltern haben bereits letztes Jahr in diesem Hotel übernachtet und wir sind dann auf die Empfehlung von denen hierher gekommen. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit leckerem Frühstück und super nettes, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Die Abende im Hotel waren ebenfalls schön, da uns ständig was leckeres zu trinken und Obst angeboten wurde. Wir fanden es schön hier und würden gerne wiederkommen. 👍🏼

Both the hotel and its staff and the city and its people are well worth the visit.
Pros:

The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is located just a few minutes' walk from a variety of interesting sites, restaurants, shopping. The neighborhood of the hotel was clean, quiet, and itself interesting to walk through. It was not difficult at all to get from the airport to the hotel; and, although we ourselves had no occasion to use it, bus #63 stops just at the end of the street from the hotel itself. On the whole, everything was a very convenient and pleasurable experience. Göbeklitepe is fewer than 20 kilometers away and Harran not much farther than that. There is much more to see and experience, and we look forward to visiting again as soon as possible.

Pros:

Отель расположен в самом сердце старого города. Старинное здание, аутентичные номера, прекрасный внутренний дворик. Завтрак на "четверку", чистота в номерах - на "пять". Просторный номер с джакузи, есть чайник и мини-холодильник. Вопрос парковки решается остановкой в 300 метрах от отеля, где она разрешена (координаты пришлет персонал). Приветственный чай/кофе для гостей, стабильный сигнал wi-fi. Отдельное спасибо Татьяне, которая работает в этом отеле, за отзывчивость и помощь!

Cons:

Ванная комната, увы, никак не обогревается в холодное время года.

A good place to stay in the old town of Sanliurfa
Pros:

I was in Urfa because I wanted to get out to Gobekli Tepe. And Sanliurfa was a bit of a cultural shock after Istanbul and Ankara. The hotel is set in a network of quiet streets which can't really be accessed by vehicles other than maybe motorbike. It is atmospheric and orange at night, actually reflecting centuries of history. I had read some reviews about other hotels in the old town being very noisy. This one is not like that at all - it is very quiet in the immediate area. The reception / dining area is very nicely decorated and the courtyard is lovely. The room is very simple with traditional old walling; the bed was fine although maybe they could do something about pillows. I couldn't stay for breakfast because I needed to make an early start. The property was very helpful in looking after my baggage and is generous in always offering Turkish tea.

Cons:

Pillows!
Wifi was a bit on and off but generally OK.

Wunderschönes Boutique-Hotel mit einmaliger Atmosphäre!

Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt in Babil Antique Hotel. Das historische Gebäude wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail renoviert und bietet eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre, die perfekt zu Şanlıurfa passt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet – man fühlt sich sofort wohl.
Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise wurden wir herzlich betreut. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Gastfreundschaft und die wertvollen Tipps zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und Ausflügen in der Umgebung.
Das Frühstück war frisch, reichhaltig und mit lokalen Spezialitäten – ein perfekter Start in den Tag. Auch die Lage des Hotels ist ideal: ruhig, zentral und mit einem wunderschönen Innenhof. Der türkische Kaffee und der Tee haben so gut geschmeckt! Wir haben die tolle Atmosphäre sehr genossen!
Ich kann das Hotel wirklich jedem empfehlen, der Şanlıurfa besucht. Ein Ort zum Entspannen, Genießen und Wohlfühlen. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder!

Babil Antique is a fabulous family-run Hotel.
Pros:

Babil Antique Hotel is a truly lovely place to stay in Urfa. It is run by a beautiful family who go out of their way to do all they can to make your stay comfortable. The central communal courtyard is set around a bubbling fountain with flowering plants and creepers. A very pleasant place to simply relax over a Turkish coffee of tea. Breakfast is typically Turkish - meaning, delicious and much too much! The room was huge with a comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge. Strong and reliable wifi in room and communal areas. It is down one of Urfa's narrow, picturesque laneways but taxis can still find you if you want to explore further. Walking distance to the main bus route and to the shopping district.

Cons:

The bathroom had a very stale smell.
