Really enjoyed our quick stay here. Wish it was longer. Better than a big box hotel by a long way.

Loved my stay. The staff is wonderful and you can’t beat the decor and ambiance.

Fantastic property with exceptional ambiance, friendly staff, terrific location, unique decor, relaxing bar/restaurant, and comfortable rooms. There’s really nothing more one could ask for in a home away from home. Can’t wait to go back!

The room was just too small. The coffee service was not good. We didn’t find it particularly charming.

Soo nice to have a bar and food on the property.

Staff is extremely helpful and kind. The hotel is in a great location (5 min walk down to 16th street market) and the hotel is a unique bed and breakfast feel. We will be back!

Beautiful property with arming available near entrance. Close to capital building and a calling distance to our favorite breakfast spot Sam's 3. Our room was lovely and bed was comfortable

No television in the building. Kinda odd.... The staff were awesome. Friendly.... fun to talk with. The little bar next door was lots of fun. I only have one issue, I was charged for an item off the tray in the room that I know nothing about. The claim is that it was open.... NOT ME! This totally ruined what could have been an awesome review.

Such a unique hotel! We loved the champagne at check-in and cooper bath tub! Staff was super friendly. The mattress was a dream. We will definitely book an Urban Cowboy again.

Only issue is that the front desk staff is not there all day. Tried to drop off bags and no one was there to let us in. Thankfully another guest let us in and we were able to find someone to take bags but it was a little frustrating.

Top notch room and amenities

We had a nice three night stay. The one thing to keep in mind though, is that the building is really old and that’s cool, but the building creaks and makes weird tapping sounds all night long; add to that the street noise, it can be quite noisy. So that was not great, but the bed was comfortable and the AC unit kept us cool.

Front desk staff are only there from 10 am to 6 pm. That wasn’t a problem for us though. And it should be known that everyone was exceptionally nice and helpful. Very welcoming and polite people.

Parking- a few spaces for hotel guests but that isn’t enforced in any way so people that go to the restaurant and pub separate from the hotel obviously park in hotel guest spots. That was aggravating on a Saturday night when you have to park on the street and then the next morning you see spots available. Parking should be enforced. Your guests should come first. Issue a parking pass and tow people who aren’t hotel patrons.

There is a drink station that has coffee, tea and water and some other things set up in the downstairs parlor bar area but you can’t have drinks there. Which seems like a big waste.

We had a great stay but probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Great place to stay. Comfortable room and on site bar with food provided by different entity. Our room was over the on site bar. It was comfortable but noisy. Should have asked more questions at check in. Don't think this was the best room for us but we should have done more research.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our room was quirky and the beds are so comfortable! We enjoyed the hip little bar next door as well.

The hotel is amazing! It’s full of personality: quirky, unique, and still very luxurious. The room had everything I needed, with an incredibly comfy mattress and the coolest décor (loved the Pendleton sheets!). Also super clean which I appreciated as it's not always the case in older buildings.

The bath was a lovely bonus, and the shampoo provided smelled so good! The location is also super convenient (walking distance to downtown). The house is located in the middle of buildings so you don't get the best view ever and it's a bit dark but part of the charm.

I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for something stylish, comfortable, and full of character.

Beautiful 1880's house and grounds

Room was as expected, very nice. Hotel itself is very cool. Parking is not desirable. Only a couple spots on side of building otherwise your on your own. 1 Ton pickup parking is not very easy in the area.

Absolutely charming. Room was delightful. And the staff was superb -- shout out to Annalise!! Gorgeous, 19th century bar on premises, lots of nooks and crannies to curl up in.

Beautiful unique property. Charming warm service so rarely experienced these days.
