It felt incredibly welcoming and relaxing to be at their place
Pros:

There was a very lighthearted energy all the time, because the family and their children were so wonderful all the time, the rooms were also very relaxing and cozy and their was always like a feeling of being right in the middle of nature almost, since you were not close to any main roads, so you really felt disconnected from society in a sense

Cons:

There is nothing that I did not like, it felt very homey for me, I only had some difficulty personally without A/C, but only because I needed to work, otherwise not having A/C would not have been a problem actually, and it was only a bit difficult during the peak heat hours, otherwise it was perfectly fine. I also found many places around the area where they live that were wonderful spots for work and the hosts of the property even organised a better internet connection for me, for it to be more seamless at their place as well, so they really did a fantastic job at supporting their guests however they could

Nice and pleasant
Pros:

I stayed here three nights while I was in Midigama. The owner is incredibly sweet and always available on WhatsApp. As I visited during off-season the restaurants were closed so she made me a delicious dinner for a very cheap price the first night. The room was spacious with a big bed and 10 min walking distance to the beach. Also the WiFi works great

Cons:

I did see two cockroaches in my room. The room also gets really hot but it’s bearable with the fan. It can also be a bit difficult to find but the owner sent a picture where she had marked the route which was very helpful.

Pros:

The family is always ready to help you and available by whatsapp. You can ask them for food/drinks/laundry. The room was also big and comfortable. We could also drop our bags of early and park out tuktuk. Really nice and safe spot to stay!!

Cons:

Our door didnt fully close just due to the structural design of the door. However this does not make the stay less comfortable because it is nice and quiet!!

Good stay in Midigama
Pros:

Nice location (5 min walk to midigama beach).
Clean room with a confortable bed and a big bathroom.
You have a mosquito net.
It can be hot sometime but the fan is enough during the night and you can let the Windows open.
Hosts are super nice and available on WhatsApp.
Good stay !

Really nice place
Pros:

The family host is so nice. They made my stay in Midigama really good. They helped me with everything.
Wifi works and close you have a laundry and restaurants. Definitely, I will repeat it here, and I recommend it 100%

Pros:

Really kind family, all take super good car of you. There's a great breakfast for a cheap price. Surf is just around the corner. The room is very big and clean and nothing was missing. I had great sleep. The owner organized the scooter rental for me which was great. There's laundry service as well. When it was raining they got me a take away, which was super sweet! Thank you and I will be back!

A great value in a peaceful place near the beach and good surfing
Pros:

A cute little home down a dirt road with a friendly
local family. The room was spacious and bed comfortable. The bathroom was huge and very clean.

Cons:

No AC but I knew that before I booked

I had an amazing stay at Ostello Surf Hostel, the room is very clean and new. The hostel owners were very kind en helpen me with everything! Is a nice place if you want a bit of rest on your own!

Calm and comfortable stay on walking distance of the beach
Pros:

Tharu and Nilu welcome you with a smile and are the most helpfull during the stay. They will do their best to make you feel at home and love having a chat over a cup of tea or a juice.
The accomodation is located away from the noise and bustle of town yet is located close to the center and the beach.
The room itself is modern and spacious with a comfortable bed. It features a large bathroom as well.
