You should be aware that unless your booking is very long, you’ll have to pay for the gondola (36/adult roundtrip) and parking at the base (15/nt). I forget whether this was disclosed before booking. Worth taking into account, since it can increase the cost of a stay significantly.

During my stay, I was disappointed with the breakfast. It started too early, and by 9 a.m., even basic items like eggs were no longer available. Although it was possible to order them separately free of charge, the staff seemed surprised by such a request, as if it was against their usual practice. Overall, the breakfast was very limited — comparable hotels in the area offer a much wider and better selection.

I was also dissatisfied with the service. For example, my girlfriend asked for a piece of butter during dinner, and the staff responded with surprise, stating that they normally don’t serve butter in the evening but would make an exception "as a favor." The salad bar at dinner was also very minimal, with the same options every night — it could hardly be called a proper salad buffet.

Additionally, when my girlfriend asked for a non-alcoholic cocktail, the only option offered was a mojito, which turned out to be just water with mint, lemon, and sugar. Despite this, the staff charged €15 for each, which I found quite unreasonable.

Overall, I didn’t feel a sense of relaxation during the stay. The staff gave the impression that they were doing us a favor by letting us stay, rather than providing welcoming hospitality.

While there were many positive aspects to our stay, we believe that the cable car (Col Raiser) and the parking lot should be included or at least clearly mentioned before confirming the booking and making a payment. Additionally, both breakfast and dinner were average in quality. Otherwise, everything else was great and we truly appreciated the experience.

That we could not stay longer.
Book directly through the Almhotel as we were ripped off 300Euro for our 4 day stay by Booking.com. We have been attempting to have them refund through their price match for over 3 months now to no avail. The company places all sorts of restrictions and each time I fulfil their requests for new information they ask for more. Support a family run business directly.
