The owner, Tri, was wonderfully friendly and accomdating. She invited my son and I to have a drink with her. Sometimes such an invitation is generic. To our pleasant surprise the next late afternoon, she knocked on our door and asked us to join her in 5 minutes. We arrived to a full table of home cooked specialties and local red wine. We enjoyed a memorable private dinner and through Google translate, a wonderful conversation.
The hotel is small, clean, and had repeat visitors from HCMC. Room was comfortable and spacious.
The hotel was a full capacity and there was only luke warm water one day.
A very quiet location, away from the busy CBD and surrounded by very friendly locals
The bed was very hard, which is normal in SE Asia, and the hot water was a bit hit ‘n’ miss. No safety box in the room either.
Relatively quiet location away from the main tourist area. There is a pickleball sports center next door so there is some hollering and noise during the day but it stops around 8 or 9 pm. Very clean room. Extremely friendly, sweet and welcoming owner, Madame, who arranged an airport transfer at a better rate.
Lots of restaurants and coffee shops close by. It's about 1/2 hour walk to the night market.
Hot water was finicky, and shower drain seemed plugged. Bed was a bit hard, but that is expected in Asia. Have slept on harder beds.
Instant noodles provided but no tea or coffee. Refrigerator in room did not get cold enough but I could leave my food in the main kitchen fridge.
Everything! The owner was so helpful and also rented scooters. The location is great! Quiet at night but close to the night market.

The first thing we like to stay at Romance Hotel is good location, near Xuan Huong lake, lot of restaurants and coffee shops around. 10_15 minutes walk to DaLat night market.
Pickleball yard also next door to the hotel.

The owner's son was very sweet and helpful, which is the only reason I gave 2 instead of 1.
Service -
(1) Most of the time there was no one in the reception. I needed to wait for a long time, and sometimes I just left a note since I was waiting forever.
(2) When I arrived on the first day, they DIDN'T have enough single rooms though I have my booking. I needed to wait until they clean up a different type of room, and they moved me to the room I booked the next date.
(3) The owner was very rude. One day my friends came to the hotel lobby in daytime - like 10 am - and the owner just kicked us out since she said we were noisy. We were not really loud, and also it was 10 am daytime and no one else was in the lobby.
(4) The owner closed the gate after 10 pm at night without telling me on the booking or when I checked in. I needed to shout to wake them up so I can go back to my room.
Facilities -
(1) The first room I got was awful. There was no hot water.
(2) The shower also couldn't be turned off completely and there was always some water going out.
(3) The second room was a disaster. My room card didn't work daily - literally every day I need to find the staff to renew the card (and you know, I needed to wait until someone is in the reception again). Apparently the card was damaged, and they only figured it out the LAST day and gave me a new one that worked.
The funny thing is depsite all the chaos and dissatisfying service, the owner asked me to leave 10/10 review. So, don't believe the good reviews here. The owner probably asked them to write so.
