A perfect overnight stay.
Pros:

Pros:

Very helpful and attentive Staff, the food was great- we had both dinner and breakfast. Plenty of car parking spaces and the car park was secluded so it was safe for our classic cars. The location was great for exploring the New Forest and Beaulieu.

Very pleasant overnight stay in the New Forest
Pros:

Nice interior decoration themed around the history of the building as a railway station. Lots of space inside and outside for drinking and dining. Good menu selection and what we had was very good. Friendly & helpful staff, clean & tidy facilities.

Not all Butcombe are equal!
Pros:

Location suited our needs.
Room was clean and comfortable however was little ‘snug’ size wise.
Plenty of parking

Cons:

Before taking a table for dinner we checked when the kitchen closed. We placed our order at 8:20pm. The bar person took a sideways glance at the clock. We asked if we should order desserts at the same time ( kitchen closed at 9pm ) we assured it would be fine to order later - wrong! When we tried to order at 9:10 we were told no can do!
At breakfast we requested cappuccino’s and were told no, the machine hadn’t been switched on yet🤦🏻‍♀️
Considering that the previous evening we had stayed at The Northey Arms, Box - in the same chain of pubs/hotel, the service here wasn’t a scratch on the previous evening nor was the accommodation up to the same standard

Pros:

Wonderful location. We loved the small details and touches especially the fresh ground coffee and French press in the room. Very comfortable bed, extremely clean bathroom, intriguing decoration throughout and a very welcoming, informative, helpful, kind and cheerful staff. And the breakfast... absolute 5 star! Thank you ! One of our best overnight stays for a very long time !

Cons:

The noise of the motorway maybe a bit much but it has not ruined our experience!And we knew it is located beside it so no complaint on that!

Pros:

Loved the location, was nice and clean,great breakfast with nice views. The staff was very friendly,always happy to help and ready to share a bit of the hotel history. The rooms were nice,cosy and clean,well equipped.

Pros:

Friendly staff. Food was lovely. Nice and clean. Beer garden was a lovely relaxing space. They also provided us with a breakfast to go of Pastries fruit and a juice as we were leaving before 5am for the airport.

Pros:

Staff were really lovely. Even when I broke a glass and later lost my bag in the carpark accidently. They couldn't have been more helpful or attentive
