Great hotel - would recommend
Pros:

Room was lovely. Very comfy bed. Everything was kept very clean. Enjoyed dinner in the hotel restaurant on two occasions, and breakfast everyday - great food and service. Saw two deer out our window locking antlers, and several squirrels.

Cons:

You can hear the noise from the two lane highway that runs past the back of the hotel. I had not appreciated it was there when I booked. Wasn't so much that it disturbed our sleep though as I feared when I first heard it. The lights from the pub garden did keep us awake a little as they are very bright and even if the curtains are completely closed, the light does come round the outside edges. Wanted to have the pie in the restaurant one evening, chicken leek and ham - but was told that my allergy to celeriac meant I should not have it. I am not 100% convinced that there was any celeriac in it since they checked, "did I mean celery" and then "did I mean celiac disease" before finally just telling me I shouldn't have it. I suspect chef just gave up trying to understand what the waitress was saying and just said no.

Best Butcome establishment
Pros:

Everything!!! From the minute we walked in to the minute we left everything was perfect.
The room was exactly what we booked , the food in the evening & breakfast was amazing and even our little dog got a sausage for breakfast. We were there for a work meeting and had 3 rooms nothing was too much , we will definitely be stopping again.

We have stayed in another Butcome establishment close to this area that was well below par to Avon Causeway this is by far the best.
