Room not clean. Size of room congested. At night dint get hot water for shower, after long journey. They said in the morning hot water will be available.

Disappointing Experience at Lidder View - Not Worth the Money

I recently stayed at Lidder View for two days, including New Year's Eve, and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. We paid a whopping 6500 bucks for our stay, which was already on the higher side considering it was a peak season.

What was even more disappointing was the fact that we were not provided with dinner on New Year's Eve, unlike other guests who had booked directly with the hotel. We were only offered breakfast, and that too because we had booked through Booking.com. It seemed like we were being penalized for not booking directly with them.

To make matters worse, when we asked the staff about celebrating New Year's Eve, they seemed completely uninterested. Unlike other resorts and hotels in the area, which had beautifully decorated their premises and organized bonfires and celebrations for their guests, Lidder View didn't even bother to put in any effort. And when we asked if they could arrange a bonfire for us, they had the audacity to ask us to pay extra for it! It's New Year's Eve, for crying out loud! Even cheaper hotels in the area were celebrating with their guests without charging them extra.

The lack of effort from the staff was evident, and it seemed like they had abandoned their posts to celebrate their own New Year's Eve without caring about their guests. The resort doesn't even have its own kitchen to prepare meals, and we had to order from outside. The numbers they provided for ordering food were exorbitant, and the food itself was absolute rubbish.

Considering the amount we paid, I expect a lot more from a hotel, especially during a peak season like New Year's Eve. Lidder View failed to deliver on even the basic aspects of hospitality, and I would not recommend it to anyone. There are much better options available in the area, and I would suggest avoiding this place altogether.

worst experience... no heater.... no restaurant, geyser doesn't works. broken windows... this hotel is not for suitable for any one because they does not provide basic amenities in winters the temperature reached at -17 degree. We booked this hotel from 05 to 08 January 2025 but due to above all problem we just stay there for 2 days and left the hotel.this hotel has policy of non refund therefore we have to bare the loss of remaining 2 day... I had the worst resort stay experience here in this resort. Didn't like it at all.
