Wasn't happy that the Room was at the top of the hotel. 50 stairs up. Not good for over 60' with health problems. We stayed out all day so we would only need to go up those stairs once.
No daily servicing of room, left to you to put bin bags outside room. Text if you need a toilet roll or clean towels. Host wasn't visible the whole time we were there.
Room needed a bit of decoration with maybe a picture on the wall.
No window you could look out of
Which is ok for a night but we were there 4 nights!
Tv was like a portable not good if you wanted to watch the football.
Didn't book breakfast, room was a good size shower was OK water pressure in basin was poor.
Outside area and entrance was grubby and wasn't swept while we where their. It had dirt cigarette stubs and what looked like bits of birds nest material. I also had to wait over 25 minutes to get in when manager told me she would let me in in 2.
Superb stay at a superb value, would highly recommend
stay was too short
Great location.15 minutes walk to open air theatre.
5 minutes into town
Great views
Comfortable room. If you get top floor there's quite a few steps to climb.
Friendly staff.
Free parking on site.
The location was perfect. We only stayed one night as we were at a gig so easy enough to get back, it was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable, would definitely stay there agin
Great location
Lovely staff
Room was lovely, beds comfy and very clean
Parking on site
Nothing - all great
Shelly was so helpful, and she made us so welcome. For an older building it was very tastefully decorated and was incredibly clean. We had a seaview which had a brilliant view of the bay. Would we recommend this hotel, 💯 yes we had a fantastic experience. Thanks Shelly xx

Great spacious clean rooms, staff are lovely, free parking which is hard to find in Scarborough. Free wifi through out. Down stairs mini bar with out the mini bar prices.
Car parking, clean room and comfortable bed, plenty of tea and coffee, biscuits with kettle in the room.Friendly welcome.Extra tea, coffee, milk available if needed.
I woke up at 3am,4am,5am because of doors slamming on my first night but the second night was ok.Other guests were the problem but the doors were fairly old so you have to shut them carefully otherwise they make noise. I noticed the door noise during the day time also so difficult to relax in my room. There was no hanging rail or coat hangers in my room which I found a bit inconvenient.I my room was on the top floor, third floor and steep narrow staircase not particularly good unless you are a young person which I am not.No breakfast available.

The location was great not only for the open-air theater but for exploring the castle too. I was dreading walking back from the beach as it's quite high up, but there were plenty of different ways and they was not as steep as I expected so I was pleasantly surprised. My room was clean and the bathroom was new. I could see the sea from my window which was brilliant.
Everyones different but for me the mattress was very hard.
The location is excellent, especially for the open air theatre....just a 10 minute walk away!
The room was a bit stuffy & couldn't open the window properly, but apart from that little issue, would definitely not hesitate to book again!
Really clean, Shelly was lovely and very helpful. Convenient for both the centre of town and the Open Air Theatre which was the main purpose of our visit. The resident's car park was a bonus as most parking in the area was time limited.
