Regal Airport Hotel

It’s a great location but they need improve some restroom and dining facilities

Staff was great, service for food was also great. Location was convenient to the International Airport.

Had pleasant stay at regal airport hotel. This is the only hotel i stay when i visit kathmandu. They provide free shuttle, free breakfast, free xerox and excellent hospitality, super clean room with necessary amenities. They have elevator incase you have heavy luggage.

clean and friendly, fast check-in and out, very close to the airport but still quite.

We didn’t expect much, but this was overpriced for what we got ($60). There were bugs in the room, no hot water, and traffic noise all night long. Its only plus is that it is walkable from the airport.

My experience was worst. We book hotels for our comfort. I had some meetings to do and few friends to meet but they claimed that either it will regarded as additional person in room and I will have to pay 1500/- for each or I will have to meet them in Resturant or lobby. I think that’s not their concern where I meet my friends. It’s confidential. Before my departure we have some fun talks, some laughs or something important maybe. They are just into money.

Also the room weren’t as expected. It was stinky, low space, and furnitures was old and not good and mattress wasn’t comfortable.

I don’t recommend this to others. You have better hotel options in the area.

Convenient to airport. Good choice for a layover.

I used to stay at this hotel. In the beginning time, this hotel was up to standard rate. Nowadays, hotel room is not up to the standard compared before. Hotel desperately needed refurbishment. All furnitures and utilities are not serviceable.

Otherwise, I like this Regal hotel just because near to airport & good customer care.

This hotel is steps from the airport, and it's one of the luxury affordable hotels in the area. The staff is friendly amd will make you feel at home.

Even though we arrived at 3am there was someone on duty to check us in and get to our room. They were friendly and helpful even though it was the middle of the night.

Staff were wonderful and very helpful. We changed our arrival flight, but staff responded to our last minute call and were waiting for us at the domestic terminal upon arrival. We were not sure where the Covid Testing lab was located, but the staff who met us at the airport agreed to take us to the lab for our Covid Test. We had to cross the Ring Road to get to the lab and the staff escorted us safely across the Ring Road. The location of the hotel is ideal for easy access to the Kathmandu airport. By no means a luxury hotel, never the less the hotel has all the basics and staff were incredibly king and helpful. Food quality was very good and there were a wide variety of choices. Proximity to the airport could not be better and we appreciated free shuttle service. With luggage it would be too dangerous to walk to the airport because of heavy traffic.

Poor room condition

Room was smelly. Got used to it after a while. Batteries on remotes are weak.

Stayed in this hotel for a night. Located in convenient Place for travelers as its just laying opposite of airport. Approximately 2-3 minutes of drive. Easy accessible. They have also free of cost shuttle service for hotel guests (got to know upon checkout only) and avail this facility upon checkout.

Quality of food (ordered room service) and breakfast (dine in) was awesome. Server at the restaurant was very decent and hospitable. Room quality is competent enough. Staffs at the reception and room service are friendly and helpful (upon request).

could be even better if someone would have anticipate to help with my luggage upon check in. I didn’t ask for though!

Overall, nice budget hotel for solo or couple travelers. I do recommend this place for everyone. Thank you entire crews!

Hotel was fantastic. Excellent staffs and were very helpful. Aircon was excellent. Room had TV with premium international channels. There was elevator which was very useful for persons with heavy luggage. Hotel provided free shuttle bus to and from hotel, that was very helpful too.

This hotel is 5 minutes' walking distance from the Internal airport and about 13 minutes walk from the Domestic airport. It is located on a main road. Pashupatinath temple is just a twelve minutes' walk from the hotel.

The room and the linen were clean. The bathroom had a few chipped tiles and the wash-basin had cracks but the basin was not leaking. The bathroom was clean. Hot water was available day and night.

The hotel has a restaurant with a good variety of dishes.

The best part of the Hotel is the staff. Ms. Rosti Suwal (Receptionist) and Mr. Suraj Neupane (Service Staff) deserve special mention for their highly professional attitude, guest-relations and integrity. The Housekeeping staff were also very polite. Such excellent and well-behaved staff would be difficult to find even in a 5-Star Hotel. Every member of the staff, including the Security Staff were always ready to help, with a cheerful smile.

I had all my meals at the hotel. The food was good. There are several good and clean restaurants on either side of the hotel and on the opposite side of the road as well.

This is an unpretentious hotel, clean and tidy.

I prefer this hotel, its location and staff to the hotels in Thamel. I will certainly be patronizing this hotel again on my future visits to Kathmandu.
