Gem in the heart of Hanoi old town
Pros:

What a little gem in great location in Hanoi. This truly lives up to its rating on booking.com. The breakfast was great, the staff very accommodating and real value for money in this quirky hotel. Lovely restaurants close by and easy to navigate around Hanoi from here. Staff (especially Grace) were exceptional. If I come back to Hanoi I will stay there again.

Central location with lots of charm. Walking distance to all the major sites.
Pros:

Solaria is very central to the Old Quarter and right near the lake. The staff were attentive and very caring, even sending ginger tea to my room when they noticed i had a cold. Grace was especially kind and considerate with lots of local knowledge. The rooms were spacious for this part of town and the beds were comfortable.

Pros:

Don t think I can praise this hotel enough.

First, location wise it is smack in the Middle of old town! Everything is a stone through away.

Starting with the check in, Grace made us feel welcome and took care of the logistics while we were offered a much refreshing juice. Porter took our luggage (all 7 pieces of it) to our room with no hassle.

We left behind a pile of luggage for safekeeping for our overnight cruise to Lan Ha bay.

On our return we were offered to use the shower to freshen up (!!!) and were given a partying present.

Finally, the sky bar is great for a cool beer to take the heat of the day off.

Highly recommend, will definitely come back the next time we visit Hanoi.

Kudos to Daria and Grace but also all the other hotel stuff.

Btw there is great Vietnamese restaurant at the basement and the spa is great too

Cons:

I can't find anything the hotel fell short. Sure the rooms could be a bit bigger but for the cost and location this doesn't even register as an issue. if you are a "room with a view" person, be aware that the rooms overlooking the rear end of the hotel don't have much of a view. not sure if you can select during booking or if you can request as a comment.

Pros:

Fantastisch ontbijt, zalige kamers, en nog een geweldiger personeel. Wij werden telkens goed geholpen door Grace, het is onbeschrijfelijk hoe behulpzaam en vriendelijk ze zijn. Locatie was ook top voor wie graag dicht tegen het centrum zit en toch wat afgelegen van de drukte. Wij hadden daar echt geen last van. Als we terug komen dan zal het sowieso weer in dit hotel zijn.

Good location but noise cancellation could be an issue
Pros:

The location was excellent, right in the heart of the Old Quarter. The staff were outstanding—courteous, attentive to feedback, and always willing to go above and beyond to assist.

Cons:

The soundproofing was inadequate—we could clearly hear every conversation from housekeeping, as our room was located right next to their office. Additionally, we were not informed about the nearby construction, which caused further disturbance due to noise.

A perfect boutique hotel for a stay in Hanoi
Pros:

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Hanoi.
The staff were exceptional and couldn't do enough to help, particularly Susan, Grace & Lily. They make an effort to remember your name and seem genuinely interested in providing you with a great experience in Hanoi. They also provided excellent recommendations and arrangements for side trips to Halong/Lan Ha Bay, Sapa & Ninh Binh.
The location was easily accessible to the streets within the Old Quarter, along with Lake Hoan Kiem. Anything further afield can be reached via Grab.
Breakfast is included in the room rate and is very extensive and I'd also recommend the restaurant downstairs for Vietnamese cuisine.

Cons:

Recommend you upgrade to a King size room if the budget allows. We stayed one night in the Sol double/twin room and found this very small, especially trying to accommodate two large suitcases.
On Friday night there is live entertainment at the Skybar which we could clearly hear from our room which wasn't ideal.

Fabuleux séjour à Hanoi
Pros:

Emplacement idéal dans le vieux quartier d’Hanoi.
Chambres spacieuses et décorées avec goût et literie confortable.
Excellent petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix.
Le personnel est d’une extrême gentillesse et toujours aux petits soins.
Le restaurant de l’hôtel le MIAs est une excellente adresse pour découvrir la gastronomie vietnamienne.
Nous recommandons cet hôtel !
