Everything that we like. Fun, friendly, clean, comfortable, quiet at night.
Pros:

Friendly helpful hosts and a fun atmosphere. Lodges are comfortable and very clean. Lovely pool. The Lodges are under a 10 minute walk to the main strip.

Cons:

It didnt bother us but the Lodges are 5 minutes down a sandy road to the main road.

Pros:

Thank you for the family atmosphere and commitment of Caz and Stuart. There is absolutely everything you need on site and the location is excellent. Full security and the possibility of exchanging currency for local.

Cons:

Temporary power outage apart from that it is a unique place.

A great place to stay
Pros:

Absolutely loved it at Avalon Garden Lodge.
Caz and Stuart made our stay a very pleasant one, would highly recommend Avalon to everyone.
Avalon is a secure and safe guesthouse to stay.
24 hour guards, it's a quiet and friendly place to stay.
We loved the pool with fresh towels everyday on the beds.
The lodge is spacious and clean, and is fully equipped.

We would like to thank Caz and Stuart for a very pleasant stay, and we will definitely come back next time.

Perfect place to stay close to everything you need. Excellent hosts who make you feel like family.
Pros:

We very much enjoyed our stay. Communication with the hosts before our arrival was easy and good.
Airport shuttle was arranged perfectly. We were welcomed by both hosts upon our arrival in the night.
We felt safe and welcome at the accomodation.

AMAZING if ever return will be booking here.
Pros:

Excellent hosts ,we arrived no luggage Caz supplied all we needed until suitcases turned up.Supplied with pool towels daily,rooms cleaned every day.We were surprised at UK standards in Lodges far superior than anywhere else we had stayed in Gambia.Kitchen had all utensils,full size oven/hob,microwave,kettle ,toaster,fire blanket ,fire extinguisher and smoke alarm.Lovely walk in shower with non slip tiles, full size fan AC available at extra charge.Caz and Stuart full of info and very helpful.I did see review about Caz entering lodges cant understand that as only times came into ours was to put fresh home baked cakes in fridge which we appreciated.All in all hosts with the most would recommend 100% as a safe hassle free place to stay.

Cons:

Certain guests could have been more friendly and appreciated the safe and secure place they stayed in. Caz and Stuart are what makes Avalon Garden Lodge the fab place it is.
