Excellent
All good
Lovely hotel great staff and breakfast
Staff, bars and food was good
Loved the staff. They were all really happy and ready to do their utmost.
The bed was also really comfy.
The (in the tower house) room was small, dark and musty. Smelled of damp and felt quite dark and dank.
Though I did imagine that those with sea views might have been quite different?
I found the room i was allocated to be a bit of a sensory nightmare.
Between the strong smell of damp, the heat from the radiators which didn't dissipate, the bright green ceiling fire- escape light, coupled with flood lights from the main buiding and a constantly flushing cistern, created a noisy, hot and light, oppressive environment, in which sleep didn't come easily.
We had a truly lovely stay at the hotel. At first, we were a bit concerned about being a bit far from the center, but the location turned out to be ideal for us.
Upon arrival, we realized it was Mother’s Day and we hadn’t made a reservation for lunch. Despite being fully booked, the hotel kindly accommodated us, which we greatly appreciated.
We would especially like to mention the front desk staff member—unfortunately, we didn’t catch his name (a senior gentleman, much like ourselves)—who provided outstanding service. He assisted us with reservations and shared valuable tips for our next trip by ferry to Ireland.
The breakfast staff were simply outstanding—consistently attentive and eager to please, yet never intrusive.
This is definitely a place we would return to for a relaxing getaway. We particularly enjoyed taking peaceful walks around the surrounding area.

Lovely position overlooking the bay.staff were very pleasant .Food in the pub part of the hotel was well presented and piping hot .breakfast was nice as well with a good choice of cereals and hot food.
Pillows were a little hard .good job we brought our own
The reception staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. I was given a late check out to accommodate the last minute delays of the ferry to Dublin at no extra cost. I was so looked after at breakfast (I'm gluten and dairy free). Nothing was too much trouble. This fab hotel will be my regular layover now!
