Located just a 10-minute walk from JR Asahikawa Train Station, Dormy Inn Asahikawa offers modern rooms with free in-room wired internet. Guests can unwind in the large public hot-spring bath and sauna facilities on the top floor.

I still love staying here even though the breakfast wasn’t as good as before.
Pros:

I like that we get to have free ramen for supper and it is also very delicious, cooked fresh and quick. I also like how they have natural outdoor onsen, steam sauna, sauna and cold plunge. The onsen area are clean and well maintained. Also the onsen is usually not crowded, only few people at a time which is great. The location is pretty good too. There is 7-eleven opposite the hotel which is great for an early morning or late snack/beer. I also like how we can wash our clothes for free.

Cons:

The breakfast this year(2026) was a bit disappointing compared to 2025. The hotel used to serve shishamo, the kaisen don would have fresh salmon roe, scallop, and other variety of sashimi. They used to have grilled scallops too. However this year, the only seafood they have are fried tempura prawns, chopped salmon mixed with salmon roe and shirasu. Kinda disappointed with this down grade. Also the rooms can do with a bit of an upgrade.
