Sigiri Heaven Villa

I had a wonderful stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sigiriya. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed with a mosquito net. The bathroom looked newly renovated and had an excellent shower. Both the air conditioning and the fan worked very well. The location is very convenient. It’s easy to walk to nearby restaurants and also to visit the main sites around Sigiriya, which made getting around very simple.
The best part of staying here was Nisha. She is such a kind and lovely person and made me feel incredibly welcome and well looked after. She prepared wonderful breakfasts and dinners during my stay, the food was absolutely delicious!!! As a vegetarian, I really appreciated that she was able to accommodate my dietary needs so thoughtfully. Her food was the best food I had in Sigiriya. The portions were always generous, and the dahl in particular was especially good. I also really valued Nisha’s friendliness and her helpful advice about what to do and see around Sigiriya. She made the experience feel very personal and caring. I truly felt looked after during my stay!

Sigiri Heaven Villa is a lovely little guesthouse in a peaceful area set back from the main road, but walking distance to many cafes and restaurants and close to the famous lion rock and historic site. Host Nisha is attentive, kind, and will do whatever you need for a comfortable stay - and she is an amazing cook (I highly recommend you eat at the Villa, especially if you like authentic and spicy Sri Lankan food, as her cooking is much better than anything in town!). Breakfast was varied and filling. The room is large and comfy and there is good internet if you need to get online. Nisha also helped with organising transport to my next destination. You can take a cooking class next door with her mum, also!

Alles perfekt! Die Lage ist sehr gut, man ist in 2 Minuten an der Hauptstraße mit vielen Restaurants und Café‘s. In unmittelbarer Nähe ist der Lions Rock. Die Besitzerin hat sich um alles gekümmert und uns auch kurzfristig TukTuks organisiert und ein Taxi für die Weiterreise. Das Zimmer ist ausreichend groß mit großem eigenen Bad, Klimaanlage und Deckenventilator. Das Frühstück wurde von der Besitzerin frisch zubereitet, war sehr ausgiebig, abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker.

It’s been an incredible stay, Nisha, we’ve felt so comfortable. The breakfasts were spectacular and the dinner was delicious.

And last night, playing football all together, was such a beautiful moment.

Ich fühlte mich sehr willkommen, es war in dieser wundervollen Unterkunft eine sehr herzliche, freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, ich wurde mit Tee empfangen. Es ist ein schönes und sehr sauberes Zimmer, das Badezimmer mit scböner Dusche, alles fast wie neu. Klimaanlage funktionierte super, eine nette Terrasse zum Draußensitzen, in einer Zelthütre wird ein tolles abwechslungsreiches und üppiges Frühstück serviert! Alles mit sehr viel Liebe! Toll ist auch, dass der Lions Rock und nette Restaurants fußläufig sind. Die Gastgeberin hat mir sehr geholfen, vom Tuktuk über Driver-Service.. und tolle Tipps, einfach rundum sehr freundlich und wahnsinnig bemüht, dass ich mich wohlfühle und mein Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen wurde! Vielen Dank dafür.. Ich kann diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

This family owned guesthouse will make you feel like family. The breakfast is delicious (and immense!). Nisansala helped me rent a bike, arranged early morning tuktuk rides and has a heart of gold.

The family who run this homestay are so welcoming, friendly and happy. The room is modern, big, clean and airy, the bathroom is also modern with a fancy shower and plenty of hot water.

We ate there both evenings and had delicious rice and curry which had different dishes each evening. The breakfast was also excellent with Sri Lankan food, toast, omlette and fresh fruit. The lady running the place kept us well supplied with tea whenever we wanted it.

The location is great. It's near the main area but far enough away to be in full countryside so is very peaceful.

All in all a great place to stay.

The host family made our experience even more special. They were incredibly kind, always smiling, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The home-cooked dinner with delicious local dishes was a highlight—we highly recommend trying it! Breakfast was also fantastic, with a variety of fresh, homemade foods to start the day.

Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Overall, an amazing stay with warm hospitality. We would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
