A lovely place to spend a few days.
Pros:

Everything, good food, very pleasant staff, great selection of beer and lagers, in all a lovely place to spend a few days in North Yorkshire and we will go back next time we visit the area.

Cons:

Nothing we loved every minute.

Very enjoyable stay
Pros:

Very welcoming. Very good and quiet location. Lovely view from the shared balcony. Quite a small room but good facilities, tea, coffee, etc., and a small fridge. Very comfy bed and pillows. Lovely evening meal (beef stew and dumplings was excellent) and large breakfast. Lovely bar and dining areas and good outside seating areas as well so a really good stay overall.

Cons:

The only thing worth mentioning was that the fridge was a bit noisy but we switched it off overnight so this wasn't really anything major.

Pros:

Delicious full English breakfast, cooked perfectly and very wholesome.
Outstanding evening meal with good choice of dishes on the menu and great service.
Room was spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable.
Quiet village location but not too remote for touring.

Cons:

Minor: TV was in an unfortunate position in that it induced a cricked neck, though space was limited to locate it in a different place.
Caught a stranger wondering around our private balcony.

Pros:

The location and access to visit nearby attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Very difficult to find the pub as it's name is still called The Bolton Arms and not told that before. The room configuration had a sink located in the bedroom.
