Nice hotel and location
Pros:

Very close to Bryggen and the city center. Very good breakfast that stops at 9:30 so be on time.

Cons:

The staff was not super friendly which is the minimum one should expect in a hotel of this level. I was actually very surprised as smiling seems to be an option rarely used.

Perfect location, amazing breakfast and vey nice hotel!
Pros:

We stayed april1-April 2 and then came back. All the same amazing experience: perfect location, nice hotel with good amenities and nice staff who helped us. They were kind enough to give us late check-out for both rooms free of charge the day we were leaving.

Cons:

We stayed at a family room the first night and it felt a little nicer than the two rooms we got on this stay. Unlike the first room, there were no hair products or lotion in the bathrooms (I requested and was given a few at the reception). Our bathroom (double bed) was very small and had a very tight shower almost on top of the toilet. The single room had a tub. The beds at a double room or two twins are exactly the same. No idea what they consider them to be different. The fitness room was clean but evidently is not cleaned very often. I checked out on April 2nd and everything (used cups and towels) were exactly the same the mornings of April 4th and 5th. But none of these things made our experience any worse. We really would recommend the hotel.

Great hotel for price, location and amenities. Would recommend it!
Pros:

The hotel is very well located. Close to everything in the main tourist area but in a tucked away street making it quiet and comfortable. The hotel is nice and the family room was excellent, clean and with good amenities. The breakfast was amazing! The staff was friendly and helpful too. Great complimentary coffee, tea and water in the lobby. Great to have a fitness room.

Cons:

No complains at all. I would have liked the fitness room to be open 24hs (jet lag and early starts) but 6am to 10pm is very reasonable and I understand it is also to respect those in rooms nearby.

Utestengt fra rommet.
Cons:

Vedlikeholdet. Vi kom våte tilbake til hotellet kl. 22.00 og fikk ikke låst oss inn på rommet. Vi satt i 2 timer med våte klær før døra inn til rommet var reparert av vaktmester. Dette ødela mye av vår opplevelse.
Ved avreise forventet vi en avkortning i prisen, men det kom ikke på tale. Vi fikk en kupong med gratis frokost på et Thorn hotell. Det har i realiteten ingen verdi for oss. Om vi skulle bo på et Thorn hotell ved en senere anledning så vil frokost være inkludert.

Central location with awesome breakfast
Pros:

Awesome location! The included breakfast was amazing. Our room had a view into the back of the Brygge, and we were able to see a bit of the harbor. The train station is a slightly longer walk but being close to everything else makes up for it! The bus to get to the light rail is also just minutes away.
