Very Friendly Staff, Specially Akash, they made our stay very comfortable.

La atención del personal es encantadora. Las villas espaciosas y la que cogimos con vistas al mar y la piscina es muy cómodo. Nos ayudaron con las excursiones que queríamos hacer. El no poder bañarte en el mar tampoco es una gran pega, ya que tienes la piscina y si vas a Arugam es para hacer surf principalmente, con lo cual, tendrás que moverte de playas. Tuvieron el detalle de hacernos un muy buen desayuno para llevar haciendo el check out a las 5am.

Great location that was very relaxed plus had a great pool. Only a minute tuk tuk from town, which was great to visit then head home and escape some loud parties.

Fantastic stay, great view and helpful friendly staff. The pool was lovely, and led out onto the beach for a lovely view of the ocean. They have pool towels too, although one day we couldn’t find any by the pool. Could hear the waves from our room which was nice and peaceful. Some cats and dogs on property who are all very friendly - a little kitten kept following us about / chilling on our balcony! Breakfast was lovely - option of western or Sri Lankan. The Sri Lankan breakfast was quite a big portion (have found that everywhere though), but is absolutely lovely and nice to try their local food. It is about 20-30 mins walk along the beach into the main centre.
Room - nice big bed, comfy, air con worked. Relatively spacious. Bathroom was big. Had some beanbags outside to sit on which was nice to chill.
They gave a welcome drink and leaving drink to takeaway which was a nice touch.

Couldn’t recommend this property enough! The staff cannot do enough for and were so accommodating. The rooms are lovely with a huge comfortable bed and the pool area was a lovely added bonus. Big thank you to Akash who even took us out one afternoon to go find wild elephants and crocodiles. Really lovely place to stay and the included breakfast was absolutely delicious - local food and huge portions!

First off all I have to say a huge thank you to Rama, the chef and the team for the most incredible food we’ve had in a nearly three week trip, it was absolutely delicious. We have honestly been looked after like we are family.
Nothing was too much trouble, the team are so so kind and generous.
Honey the cat and the dog are a friendly addition ..
The villas are simple and clean.
A beautiful pool awaits you at the rear of the villas with the ocean right at your door.
I’m so happy we stay here for two nights that we actually stayed an extra night making it a three night stay as it was so relaxing.
Do yourself a favour and stay here, you won’t regret it.

The staff was amazing. We were super well received and taken care of. Mrs Rama and his crew will treat you like home.

Rama and his team do a wonderful job. They make you feel welcome and at home. Nikara Beach Villas is a quiet, relaxed place. No TV in the room, just great!.
Excellent and plenty of food. If there is enough time they prepare just every Sri Lankan dish!
It was difficult to leave...

Where to start! I’m not usually one to leave reviews but our stay at Nikara Beach Villas was one of the best, most relaxing experiences we have had in Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome and any request me made was dealt with in the blink of an eye. Rama, Lahiru, and Riyas made our stay wonderful. Not to mention that Honey, (the cat) became our shadow, and we loved it. Honey’s sister (cat) Peanut (the dog) and Peanut’s brother (also a dog) were also all very lovey and made our stay even more wonderful.
The breakfast is most certainly a highlight of staying here. The food was all freshly, hand made, and local (we opted for Sri Lankan breakfast but a Western breakfast was also offered). By far the best way to start our days!
