From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the staff made us feel like honoured guests. There was a problem with the room that we had reserved, so we were immediately offered a free upgrade to a luxurious suite. The room had every facility that you could require, including tea & coffee making facilities. The bed was so comfortable with the best quality cotton bedclothes. The sauna was fun, although the weather was too cold to use the outside swimming pool.
The concierge staff were superb and offered advice about places to visit and eat. The housekeeping and breakfast room staff were equally warm and friendly
The only negative point that I can raise is the slowness of service at breakfast, especially for coffee. As I say, the staff were very friendly and I understand that service was busy, but I think that fresh coffee should be available on arrival at the table.

Saboaria was a little oasis away from the busy city, you feel relaxed as soon as you walk in & the staff are very attentive throughout, helping with anything we needed. It was without a doubt the most comfortable bed we’ve experienced in a hotel. The whole room was immaculately clean, a lot of attention goes into cleanliness at the hotel overall. The room was really well soundproofed, couldn’t hear a single thing once inside, which made it so relaxing. The facilities were also amazing, pool / jacuzzi / steam room available for use at any time. Certainly will be back.

We loved Torel Saboaria and will stay here whenever we are in Porto. This former soap factory is gorgeous with a beautiful hot tub and pool and a spa where we received much needed massages. It's close to all the Porto highlights but just far enough away from the tourist traps to be relaxing and quiet. The breakfast was delicious as well and the rooms are very comfortable. Best of all is the staff. We have never had kinder or more generous service than what we received at Torel Saboaria. Special appreciation to Thiago and Gabriel for their kind attentiveness and local suggestions, though the entire staff was amazing. We will definitely be back.
This hotel is one of a kind; perfect location, lovely interior, garden, hot tub and pool but most of all the kind, warm and friendly staff. The restaurant Luffa serves a lovely breakfast, rooms are clean and the service is excellent and helpful throughout and very personal. We would love to recommend this hotel and the amazing team working there - not least Tiago.

I love everything about this hotel. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, served restaurant style as opposed to a buffet. Location is perfect - you're within walking distance of most notable places and districts in Porto. Bedrooms are clean and kept to the highest standard, the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The staff are exceptional. Really attentive and helpful. I'd stay here again and again. The pool and spa facilities are also great.

Cet hôtel est en fait une résidence de tourisme classée 5 * qui correspondrait plutôt à un hôtel 3/4*
Pas de lobby .
Notre chambre en rez de chaussée (numéro 6) était assez sombre avec 2 petites fenêtres et peu d’éclairage. Salle de bains peu pratique, exiguë, difficile d’y poser ses affaires ou d’y accrocher un drap de bains, en outre l’utilisation de la salle d’eau la nuit éclaire obligatoirement la chambre.
Pas de coin bureau ni de coiffeuse , ni de fauteuil mais une petite table en marbre et 2 chaises bistrot.
Le coin cuisine non équipé d’ustensiles est pratiquement inutilisable et occupe beaucoup de place.
Le service du petit déjeuner à la carte propose des produit de qualité mais le service est désorganisé. Les boissons arrivent rapidement mais ensuite il nous a fallu attendre plus de 20 minutes pour recevoir un petit panier avec 4 mini pains. Ceux ci sont distribués avec parcimonie ( 1 mini croissant et 3 mini pains pour 2 personnes) pas de choix de confiture: myrtille uniquement et beurre « fouetté salé »

Frühstück war nicht für jedermann, denn es gibt keinen Aufschnitt oder Käse ! Massagen im Hotel viel zu teuer !
