Great location, lovely cleaning staff- however very outdated, dusty, alleged unfair employment practices
Pros:

The cleaning staff were absolutely lovely. It’s in a fantastic location. Perfect view of namsan tower. Good high tech toilets. Receptionist staff were very professional and had great English skills.

Cons:

Building is old & outdated. The entrance is very dusty, walking in you can smell the dust in the air. A lot of rubbish accumulating the entrance area. No working fan in the bathroom, I noticed mould in the ceilings. I was also concerned to learn about the protests related to the hotel's alleged unfair employment practices.

We had a very pleasant stay.
Pros:

The location was excellent. The bus stop in Myeongdong, with buses going to and from the airport, was only a few seconds’ walk away, which made transportation very convenient. The night market was also nearby. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable and I like the bathrobe and slippers.

Cons:

The only minor issue was that the bathroom countertop was a little lower than the standard height and outside the hotel was kinda messy with the banners and protest sign, but other than that, everything was great. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is at prominent place. There is a restaurant but there is no service at 7pm. old property. not maintained well.

Cons:

Restaurant was not serving at 7pm, closed. yet you will find lot hotels nearby.

A sadly neglected property.
Pros:

The Sejong is an older and well located hotel with bigger than average rooms. We were upgraded to a spacious corner room which was great.
The room was clean and comfortable, although it hadn’t been updated for many years and looked old and tired.

Cons:

We tried breakfast on our first morning and it was truly dreadful. There were very few Western options, no cooked to order eggs or noodles, and all of the food was lukewarm, with heating containers left open. There was only one staff member on duty the whole time for the entire dining room, and he couldn’t cope. Soon there were no eggs or bread of any kind available. From the start there were only two types of fruit available, only plain coffee, and no pastries of any kind. The cost was KRW 22,000pp. We didn’t return.
Many reviewers have mentioned the permanent protest group on the footpath outside the hotel. They are apparently paid protesters and they are still there.
In the hotel foyer itself there is a large pile of rubbish and debris- several cubic metres- looks appalling.
The whole hotel gives the impression that no one cares, and no one takes responsibility or ownership. Rather sad, and we won’t return.

4人部屋はとてもいい造りですが

デモしてるので入り口が不快感満載です。
ちょっとひどい扉の中までゴミ？
みたいな感じです。

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel
Pros:

Tout était parfait ! Chambre spacieuse par rapport à ce qui se fait dans le quartier. Ménage effectué tous les jours.
Personnels sympathiques et disponibles.
Accès centre donc parfait pour balade, shopping et métro.

スタッフの方々のちょうど良い距離感もあり、とても良い旅になりました。
Pros:

明洞に宿泊の際は何年も前よりこちらを利用しています。立地がとても良いです。地下鉄を上がったらすぐ目の前です。短いスティでソウルを楽しむのなら最高です。
部屋も広くゆっくり過ごせました。
窓からNタワーが見え、韓国好きにはたまらない部屋でした。

Cons:

古いホテルなので、カビや下水の匂いがします。宿泊時は匂いが取れるスプレーを持参しています。
一階は以前から揉めている元従業員のゴミが沢山あります。昨年よりひどくなっていました。ホテルの前でデモをする姿もありましたが、慣れているので気になりませんでした。
