I stayed at Hotel Monsoon Palace for four nights, and overall, the experience was comfortable and pleasant. The hotel offers a good balance of cleanliness, convenience, safety, and courteous service, making it a reliable choice for travelers visiting Guwahati.
The location is one of the biggest advantages. The hotel is very close to Guwahati Railway Station, which makes arrival and departure extremely convenient. It is correctly marked on online maps, so locating it is easy even for first-time visitors. Shops are available nearby, and bike taxis are easily accessible for short-distance travel. Despite being centrally located, the surroundings are quiet and peaceful.
The premises and rooms are clean and well maintained. The room was neat, hygienic, and comfortable throughout the stay. The bed had clean bedsheets, and fresh towels were provided. Basic toiletries were available, and the bathroom was clean with no issues related to water supply. The room had ample lighting and a calm environment, which ensured good rest. Both the room and bathroom were cleaned daily, which was especially appreciated during a four-night stay.
The hotel felt safe and secure, with no disturbances during my visit. The quiet atmosphere makes it suitable for solo travelers, families, and business guests.
The food quality was excellent. The meals were very tasty, well prepared, and consistently satisfying. This added significant value to the stay, especially for guests who prefer dining at the hotel.
The staff members were polite, responsive, and well mannered. Requests were handled promptly, and their helpful attitude made the stay smooth and stress-free.
Amenities include a daily newspaper, TV with working channels, and car parking space for two cars. Nearby shops and easy availability of bike taxis further add to the convenience.
Overall, Hotel Monsoon Palace offers good value for money with its clean rooms, good food, convenient location, and courteous staff. I would recommend it for all.

Got a call from the receptionist to confirm the hotel stay. Only limited toiletries are provided.
I had only veg breakfast and it was damn good.

Is bad place to stay and to dangerous for staff for tourism to stay may be they are bad ,please be aware to stay there .

The hotel is very clean and the staff are very polite and helpful. Overall the hotel is best in its segments at Guwahati in my opinion.

Liked the simplicity of staff, but unfortunately no staff was provided to shift my luggage to car at the time of check out. Already, I have informed in advance on previous night about my check out time. Room was clean.
