Brilliant dog friendly hotel!!
Pros:

The staff and the locals were fabulous! Everyone made us and the dogs feel so welcome! No it’s not a modern hotel BUT if your looking for a proper friendly hotel where the locals talk to you like friends would and your dogs are treated like the hotel pets then this is the place for you! The room was clean and had everything you need. Thank you Brentwood Hotel and the locals! We will be back!

It was the worst hotel stay I've ever had!
Pros:

The location was ok as it was only a short walk to the beach

Cons:

When I booked my stay I was expecting to be served food while I was there. Only to find out after I paid for my stay the kitchen was out of action and has been for a while. Even on my receipt it said 'Dine In.' I had to go into the town to find something to eat. Also, the drinks at the bar are seriously over priced
I won't be recommending this hotel. I will be asking for a refund.

Never again
Pros:

The rooms were tired and scruffy the bed sheets had stains and there was a fridge on a chair that nearly fell off every time you touched it . The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest either and the hallway and stairs had a stale smell

Cons:

Checked in stayed 2 nights then checked out early to stay elsewhere
Pros:

Bar area and garden

Cons:

Some of the staff not communicating enough/rudeness and the manager went on holiday leaving other staff to deal with guests.
Bed uncomfortable ended up with back pain.
No white sugar supplied for cups of tea. No biscuits provided.
People too loud in the garden at night
Heard factual stories of the going’s on in the hotel which were not pleasant and some guests accommodated by the council housing department
