Pros:

We stayed 2 nights at Hotel Palacio and everything went very smoothly. The staff was welcoming and helpful, the restaurant and breakfast were very good, and all the excursions and van transfers booked through the hotel were perfectly organized. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Cons:

The only small issue was with the laundry service. One piece of clothing was missing when our clothes were returned, and the staff seemed a bit lost when we asked about it.

Pros:

Great staff, prime location and has that resort feeling. Food is good. WiFi was hit and miss but was good for the most part.

Cons:

Bathroom did smell of sewage every once in a while but that is just drainage for you.

The AC worked but was rather outdated.

Pros:

Extremely accommodating and friendly staff who are helpful in organising any activities and transport throughout your stay. The food and menu are excellent! The rooms are clean and well maintained. The communal areas such as the dining room and the outside pool area is accommodating to large groups of people.

Pros:

The room was cheap but we did not like our stay because alot of mosquitos in our room! Luckly we were just staying there for a few hours before our trip to Balabac.

Cons:

It was soo many mosquito in our room when we arrived! We got a bug spray and that's it. They said there was no other rooms available, but it was available rooms in booking.com...
The hotel looks ok but the rooms are really old.
There is nothing around the hotel and you need to get a taxi to get to a supermarket

Just what we needed
Pros:

Staff were so friendly and helpful! The food was great and easily the best Pino colada I’ve ever had!! The room was lovely and spacious and had an amazing view! I was worried about being away from town but all tours picked us up happily from here and the hotel helped with any other transport. Would definitely recommend!

Cons:

The room cleanliness could have been better, don’t get me wrong it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t clean at all during our 3 day stay so no fresh towels, toilet roll, bins ect. But was clean on arrival.

Again another thing just due to me being so pale was the beds by the pool were shaded which was lovely but the pool itself had no shade at all which made it hard to stay in for very long without getting burnt and meant the pool was very warm!

Slechte ervaring met het personeel in een verouderd hotel.
Pros:

Hotel ziet er veelbelovend uit en er zou ook wel iets van te maken zijn als er goed management zou zijn en wat aanpassingen om het comfortabel te laten worden. Maar helaas, het is geen hotel om naar terug te verlangen.
Ruime kamers, maar gehorig en verouderd.

Cons:

Zeer weinig behulpzaam personeel. We hadden een doos verse kiwi gekocht voor de volgende dag, maar het mocht niet in de koelkast van de keuken, ondanks meerdere keren verzoeken. Op de kamer is geen koelkast, dus de volgende dag konden we de kiwi's weggooien. Het personeel is niet klantgericht en ongeïnteresseerd.
