Staff so friendly, but as soon as you walk into the bright cheerful lobby you are greeted with the most unpleasant of smells. It’s like urine and air freshener. My daughter who is 5 was gagging over the smell.
If you are looking for a family oriented place for kid activities that offers a bit of nightlife for parents, this place is great for you. Keep in mind, it was built in 1960 and updated a little in 2010.
Our partial ocean view consisted of viewing the main street out front and the other dozen balconies of the other rooms. While there is a coffee maker, it’s a real, home type coffee maker and there is no coffee with it. There is also no shampoo, conditioner, or lotion in the bathroom. There’s no continental breakfast or coffee offered in the lobby but there is a little shop close by to buy it.
The beach is beautiful and you can rent umbrella's and kayaks. We didn’t swim in the pools but they did seem decent (again, great for families and kids).
If you’re a couple just looking to get down to the gulf shore I wouldn’t recommend this place.
We really enjoyed our stay. With 2 pools outdoors and 1 pool and a lazy river pool indoors. There was no overcrowding. Always something going on at nite. Easy access to the ocean. Our room was clean and the staff was always on hand. Their restaurant was just scross the street. I love the ice cream shop. Would stay again

Room need update, very outdated fixtures and faucets, tiny sinks. Beds are not very comfortable
We stayed at 2 different rooms. Double twin+ partial view and king beach view. Double twin room was at 7th fl and elevator smells sooooo bad!!! Beds are uneven but you have a beautiful view.
King room is slightly better than double twin room. Just kitchen is smaller and better. Bathrooms are same!
Tiki bar is perfect but if you are young professional, this hotel has too many elders. They have events which i found entertaining.

This resort used to be amazing, but it has changed I guess over the years. No room service at all. Sink was clogged, mold in the bathroom above the shower. No bath tub stopper, no hangars. It’s almost a no frills hotel, if u want it bring it.
Love it. Every time we visit Panama we stay here. But the elevators need better air flow.
We'll be coming back to enjoy the property again. Nice spot for families.

You had me at the lazy river! Everything was great!
The carpet was coming up in our room. When we first got there the tv was not working at all. The drain in the shower barely worked and every shower turned into a bath. There was also mold growing above the shower. The halls constantly smelled like weed. It was definitely not worth the price we paid.
