Sehr einfach und nur für Reisende ohne Anspüche
Pros:

Die Lage ist gut mit der Nähe zum Union Square und die junge Frau an der Rezeption ist sehr nett

Cons:

Die Bilder im Internet sind offenbar älteren Datums, es ist ein sehr einfaches Hotel, in keinem Zimmer befindet sich ein Stuhl oder ein Tisch, auch nicht in einer Junior Suite, die ihren Namen nicht verdient

I loved the old building with old elevator. Good location, the room was clean and had microwave with fridge. I was satisfied. Breakfasts like everywhere.

It was the best city break
Pros:

The hotel is centrally located, safe to go around and makes it easy to get to spots like Fisherman's Wharf, Lombard Street via public transport. What's wonderful though is the way the staff are so friendly and considerate. We were able to check in early as it was available at the time and it has given us a great start to our trip. Huge thanks to Eric for seeing two girls who needed a much-needed rest! Your kindness was really appreciated.

Cons:

Breakfast only had a few options of toast, cereal and fruit but didn't bother us as much since we only eat light anyway.

Nejhorší snídaně, kterou jsem zatím na hotelu zažil!
Pros:

Nedaleko metro na letiště, lanová dráha i další turistické cíle. Kvalitní zaměstnanci recepce.

Cons:

Projel jsem mnoho hotelů a vždy se snažím brát ve městech hotel se snídaní. Bohužel, v tomto případě managmant hotelu naprosto selhal a
totálně vzdal veškerou snahu o získání hostů. Na výběr byl pouze suchý toastový chléb na topinku a cornflakes. Ráno jsme chodili do vedlejšího obchodu, koupit si na chléb aspoň šunku (což dělalo i mnoho dalších hostů). Přeci nemusí být snídaně honosná, i za málo peněz lze vymyslet super snídani, kterou uspokojíte většinu hostů. Celkově to významně zhorší zážitek z pobytu. Hotel se nacházel na hranici bezpečné zóny a velmi nebezpečné čtvrti s velkým množstvím feťáků. Proto si musíte dát pozor, kudy na hotel jdete. Ale bezprostředně u hotelu je bezpečno.

Lo único bueno es la ubicación.

Cons:

Sitio totalmente engañoso con las fotos. Nos dieron una habitación realmente minúscula, nada que ver con las fotos. Tuvimos que matar 4 cucarachas pequeñas en el baño, la cama se hunde y el ascensor da un miedo terrible. Nada recomendable, mejor gastarse un poco más en otro hotel

great place with small rooms with a great location; close to . to all the good stuff in SF..

cute rooms, though to be romantic need to add some color and/or name the rooms with some romantic tones/scenes.... ronmantiized...

Cons:

only thing was the remote.. one didn't work, the other looked simple but turned out to be a bit more complexed.. a cheat sheet on how to use the remotes.. *which one is for what/and I think someone who may not be used to the variety of channels may be overwhelmed at first and the little remote was very "touchy/sensitive"... just a cheat sheet on how to use it if unfamilar...

Worth the price. Likely stay again next time
Pros:

Location: great, few blocks from Union Square, no encampments, no permanent homeless activity.
Bed: sheets - clean, four pillows. I'd say its way better than similar class hotels in SF.
Room: Several electrical sockets in the room. 5-6 hangers for suit/shirts.
Bathroom: generous amount of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel available.

Iron and board available at reception (while board was small but usable).

Overall, compared to similar price hotels I've visited in SF throughout 8 years: Fitzgerald hotel has good bathroom, clean bed and professional reception (it seems like they worked at higher caliber hotels before)

Cons:

Check in problems: During the registration they gave me wrong room and I went into other persons room (I've seen that resident's clothes , luggage, etc). I came back and got another room. That new room was clean and ready except I found out that the fridge was full of take-out food boxes. They cleaned fridge while i was out running my errands. For this experience I was offered "some kind of compensation", but I did not get one.

Breakfast: breakfast are very poor, basically bread and topping + apple + drink. However products are fresh and there is a microwave if you have breakfast of your own. Alternatively just across the street you can find good breakfast restaurants.

Elevator is quite old, but quiet and usable.

Location is good.

Cons:

A warm dish, like scrambled eggs, wld have made a proper breakfast.
Though it may not be in hotel's control, urine stench outside hotel is unbearable in the mornings.

OK budget place, Great Staff hopefully can improve property with time
Pros:

Location and price were good, Generally it seems better to stay up a little further towards top of Nob Hill to have fewer vagrants as well so that was a minus on the location, but not their fault and SF is getting better. The desk was manned 24/7 and the staff was friendly. They accomodated my room change for less noise.

Cons:

The automated wake up service was a little off (was set to East Coast time). Decor wasn't as good (tacky ceiling fans, etc.) Location would be better one or two stops up Nob Hill.
