Pros:

Fantastic onsen with incredibly delicious meals. I've visited Japan over 25 years, and it's the best onsen meal I've had. You do have to be familiar with Japanese Kaiseki Ryori to understand what to expect. The staff are incredibly friendly. The bath is small compared to larger onsens, but this is a boutique hotel so it's understandable. Arima is a truly lovely onsen town with many bars and restaurants. It is an expensive onsen but the highest quality meals really demonstrate where your money is going.

Beautiful ryokan in Arima Onsen
Pros:

The property is beautiful, with an emphasis on art and flower arrangement. The room is large and clean. The public onsen is also reasonably large and did not feel crowded, although the ginsen can only fit about two people at a time. The breakfast and dinner were both very good. They even offer the option of separating bookings for accommodation and meals, which is not always available at other ryokans. The staff is excellent and very helpful and polite. The lounge area even has free drinks and beer in the evening. The location is very convenient, being a 3 minute walk to the main shopping street. For all that it offers, the price of this ryokan is very reasonable.

Cons:

Would have liked a bigger ginsen, but that is a minor quibble. Everything else was great.

最高のおもてなしの宿
Pros:

すべてにおいてとても良かったです。　まず到着時は，美味しいお抹茶を点てていただき
食事は、夕食，朝食とも大満足でした。
スタッフの方々の素敵な挨拶と笑顔も印象的でした。
お部屋も清潔で生け花が本当に素敵でした。
日頃の疲れを癒しにいきましたが、心ともにリフレッシュできました。
