Pros:

Excellent location. Neat and clean rooms. Cheerful helpful staff.

Cons:

There was a foul smell coming from the drain in the bathroom occasionally. I guess that's a temporary issue. The manager said he'd take care of it

Good value for money
Pros:

The house is lovely and feels very homely. The owner is very friendly and kind, he let me leave my bag at the accommodation after I had checked out, so that I could explore the city before moving on. The bed was comfortable and aircon works well.

Pros:

The location was perfect for us as we needed to go to the department of immigration for a visa extension. The host was super kind and helpful, also the house is absolutely stunning. Beds were comfortable and there was a hot shower in the bathroom. WiFi was ok, but worked better in the shared areas. Shared areas were also really clean and beautiful, with a nice fridge and kettle available to guests. Upon request the host let us use the gas stove as well, but this is located in a separate kitchen. The place was super clean and quiet.

Cons:

The ceiling fan was not working but there was AC and the host immediately provided us with another fan. We thought the kitchen was fully available to us but it is not exactly like that, although we were allowed to use the gas. The room was located on the ground floor, thus was very humid.

Extremely homely environment. Suitable for family and children. Very calm and easily accessible to nearby supermarkets. Staff was excellent and very supportive, Both Mr Rajiv and Mr Kumara were very kind supportive in numerous ways. We enjoyed the stay very much

Pros:

Schönes Haus und gepflegt. Die Lage ist ruhig aber nicht im Zentrum von daher weniger optimal wenn man zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten möchte. Der Host ist sehr sehr lieb und bemüht den Gästen alles recht zu machen - das hat uns gut gefallen.

Cons:

Das Zimmer, welches wir hatten, hat leider die ganze Zeit über nach Motoröl und Abgasen gestunken. Unsere ganze Klamotten aus dem Koffer riechen nun danach. Das ist wirklich sehr schade.

Affordable and efficient stay
Pros:

I stayed at this hostel/homestay hybrid and overall had a pleasant experience. The property is tucked away in a peaceful residential neighborhood, offering a quiet atmosphere that’s perfect for rest. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the entire place is kept very clean and tidy. The location is also quite good, making it easy to get around (During peak times, Uber might take at least 15-20 minutes - so plan ahead).

Cons:

Slow and intermittent Wifi.
One thing to note is that while the photos show a kitchen, it isn’t really available for guest use. That said, there is access to a refrigerator, microwave, and a small common area with tea, coffee, and creamer provided. Having full tea/coffee amenities would make the stay even better.

Fantastic absolutely.
Pros:

The manager Mr. Rajeev De Silva was very very kind and accommodating. It’s rare that you even find service like this in a five star hotel and I’ve stayed in some of the best hotels around the world. Highly recommended.
